Good evening, tags and lurkers! I currently have one beautiful application for SEBASTIAN SMYTHE in the inbox, and I will be reviewing it (and any other applications I receive, hint hint) at MIDNIGHT, EST, which is in a little over an hour. WHY:
We’re just finishing our first week of gameplay, and I’m so pleased and proud of the activity and interactions I’ve seen so far! To celebrate, I thought we’d kick off our first event with a little party.
WHAT:
In-game, The Ruckus on the Rooftop is an annual end-of-summer shindig thrown by Kurt and Blaine’s apartment complex. Although it initially began as a way for residents to get to know each other better, after a few years of success, it was unanimously decided to allow friends and other non-residents to attend as well. For the sake of this event, assume your character received an invitation! There will be homemade food (feel free to have your character bring a dish!), a band, ridiculous discounted summer-themed decorations, and of course, a cash bar, for those who wish to partake. It is not a formal event, and attendees tend to drift in and out as they will.
Out of character, this is an opportunity to have some face to face interactions! Flex those long-form writing muscles! Get to know the characters we’re writing against beyond dash replies! As such, during this event, regular Tumblr dash interactions will be paused.
WHEN:
In-game, this event takes place Friday, August 17th, from around 6 PM EST to around 11 PM EST. Out of character, this event will be available for participation from 6 PM, Friday, August 17th (so in about an hour!) until Sunday, August 19th, at 11 PM EST. If at that point there are any paras or face to face interactions that need to be continued, feel free to take them to Chatzy or Discord and post the final results! Furthermore, if it seems like everyone is finished ‘early’ (before Sunday at 11 PM EST), I’ll make a post indicating dash interactions can resume as normal.

Once again, welcome to A GOOD LINE!
One quick note - due to our starter tag being in-use by another game, I’ve updated our game tags to follow the agl: subject format. This makes our starter tag agl: starter, our admin tag agl: admin, etcetera. I’ve updated our checklist links to reflect this change, and I’m about to go through and edit the tags on the posts I’ve put up so far. I do apologize for any confusion on that front, and please reach out if you have any further questions!
After what was supposed to be a lazy day turned very busy and kept me away from my computer, I’m pleased to announce that A Good Line is OPEN FOR INTERACTIONS! Yay! Keep an eye out for our first lowkey event going down this weekend, but in the meantime, let’s get writing!
