New Chapter || Cynthia & Shauntal
Cynthia wasnât always the most expressive woman. Unike Shauntal, she didnât wear her emotions on her sleeve. Rather than loudly and visibly express herself, she spent most of the play in her seat, legs elegantly crossed, with a smile on her face, the occasional amused chuckle escaping her lips at the sight of the Pokemonâs valiant attempts at acting. That was how Cynthia expressed her enjoyment.
The show was an impressive display; Cynthia found herself surprisingly taken by the Pokemon and their trainerâs acting. So the intermission became a much needed emotional break for the blonde, who remained seated a little bit longer than Shauntal. Turning to face her friend, Cynthia gave her a light smile, before raising a hand to dry her own, wettened eyes. âIâm really impressed by their performance.â
Standing up, Cynthia put her hands in her hair to adjust the absurdly long blonde locks she had been forced to sit on. Safely hidden in her pocket was a list of activities she had planned to offer for the two of them to engage in; Cynthia had found herself planning, writing and crossing over various activities on this list for an awful long time over the last week.
Though, intermission meant one thing and one thing only. By standing up, Cynthia had hoped she could communicate that desire, but maybe she would need to push the writer along. âWould you like to head and see if they sell coffee or something at the entrance?â Offering or not, the two woman would have to leave their seat, as more and more people was getting up to their feet and slowly shuffling towards the exit for bathroom-visits and whatnot.
"I was a bit skeptical at first, when they had the Mismagius open the narration⊠But I was really impressed. They managed to pull it off." The tone of Cynthiaâs voice soon shifted, however, becoming more curious; slightly teasing too, perhaps. "Do you think you would dare get on stage with your ghosts like that? Or even manage to train them to become PokeĂĄctors?"
Shauntal wasn't one for drinking coffee just to be drinking it, it was particularly her favorite beverage. She wasn't in need of a pick-me-up, but decided to walk to the entrance with her more calm and collected friend. She was sure they'd have more to choose from than just coffee, too. Popcorn didn't sound half bad at the moment.
The purplette was overjoyed to hear that Cynthia was impressed with the show as well. She would have felt so guilty if she had been the only one having a good time. She certainly didn't want to feel as though she was dragging her blond companion anywhere. "Oh, I was very surprised by the narrator as well! I surely thought it'd be some sort of poor joke, but it turned out to be much more entertaining with the Mismagius."
Once again, Cynthia was using her playful tone towards Shauntal, though the question wasn't quite as flustering as the ones in the past. Nonetheless, the sound of the woman's voice managed to make the receiver of the question a bit tense and rosy-cheeked.
She let out a bit of an embarrassed chuckle. Her Pokemon were well trained, but not quite that well trained. They were kids at heart, so at times they did follow orders like the obedient little dears they are, and sometimes, they did the exact opposite. "My Pokemon? Oh, I don't think that ghost Pokemon in general would be fit for such a job. If it were a horror play, then maybe it would be a little more suitable. Though, scary isn't necessarily my Pokemon's forte either. I don't think they're made for theatre." Shauntal's best bet would be her little army of Litwik. They might have a bit of a chance in the spotlight, but why bother? They light themselves up so well! (ha ha)
"And what about your Pokemon? Would they fair well on the stage?"
As the woman expected, there was a bit of a line to wait for the food and refreshments. Which wasn't all bad, because that meant more time to socialize; Something the two hadn't been able to do much of.
The show was very nice so far, but was it what the two needed? They had no ways of bonding in a dim theatre in which they're forced to be quiet in. It's something nice to do with someone you see fairly often, but Cynthia is a fairly busy woman who lives in an entirely different region!
They were nearly at the front now, but something that would probably appear as pure impulse to anyone else took over the novelette.
"Why don't we go see what else is out there for us to do?"
Yes, she did want to see the ending in Pokemon-form, but the show was too far from the ending for Shauntal's liking, and there was much more to try out beyond those theatrical walls.
I could meet you by tomorrow noon by the dunes by the cape. ;)
"No. None of that."
Do you like piña coladas and getting caught in the rain?
"Yes, I like pina coladas and getting caught in the rain. I'm not much into health food, I am into champagne."
Which book have you read recently that you wished you had written first?
"I wish I could have written Twilight."
She decided it was best to not give any insight on the matter. She didn't know how to put it lightly about how disappointed she was in the concept of the saga, and only wished to doctor it.
Would you ever have sex while on your period?
"As a wise professor once said:Â There's a time and place for everything.
That's certainly not the time."
Halted Train of Thought || Skyla and Shauntal
The plane continued to hum for roughly another minute, and without warning, it started to move; Much like those moments when sitting on a ride at an amusement park, it starts moving and everyone thinks; âOh! Weâre moving, weâre moving!' It was much easier to get a small plane like this up in the air than it was to take-off a massive cargo or passenger plane. None of that rolling around the runway for half an hour until the correct road was reached, this one was already ready to go.
"Alright, here we go then~!" She called down the radio excitably, as the jet quickly accelerated to a very high speed, everything was shaking thoroughly, and any passengers may feel glued to their seats a little untilâThe vibrating stops entirely and you experience what almost feels like a shift in gravity. Before you know it, the ground it rushing away from you!
"And we haaave lift off!â Take-off was always one of Skylaâs favourite moments. Landing was pretty exciting too; All that shaking and anticipation stuck with her since the first time was a passenger on a plane. She may not have done it too quickly, for the comfort of the passengers; but these small planes really did ascend faster, in a matter of seconds the Mistralton gym and airport were far below them.
"Keep me posted if you want me to do anything, or get a closer look at anywhere in particular. As a matter of fact; got any requests? Something you wanna see from the sky? Donât worry, took me a while to get used to tricks as well!" Easy for her to say, then again, itâs probably much more difficult to pull off a trick than to just experience oneâŠ
Shauntal was jerked by the sudden transition from being off the ground to ascending into the skies. This little plane sure could move! Although it was a bit surprising, it didn't startle the skittish woman. In fact, after all the build up from waiting, she was ready to take to the sky. And in little to no time at all, that's where they were.
She leaned a little closer to the window to see exactly how high up they were. Skyla's gym was so small, it could be pinched between Shauntal's gloved fingers. Mistralton's runway was but a mere few inches, maybe less, apart. The city as a whole was a very beautiful sight from up above to take in all at once.
The jet rose even higher until the city below began to lose it's complex detail and looked like a bunch of dots, lines, and greenery. The transparent clouds grew more substance to them and made things even more difficult to make out as they flew through them.
Requests? Now that she thought about it, Shauntal had plenty! She was curious to see how quickly one could travel across the entire vast region of Unova from a birds-eye view. She wanted to see the distance from Aspertia's mountains to the level ground below them. She wanted to just barely scrape across Castelia's very own sky scrapers. My, how empowering it felt to look below on the rest of the world!
"Hm.." She decided to hum, rather than list all of her impulsive desires. This trip wasn't for her own curiosity, but for ideas for a best selling novel. She had to keep reminding herself that. "Could you take me Humilau? I know the ocean is vast, but I want to know just how widespread it is in comparison to the land."
Perhaps it would strike inspiration for some sort of sea monster or succubus story?
"Do you know Thunderbolt?" was his first greeting to me. It wasnât until after we battled that I learned his name was Volkner. "Hey, you! Use Overheat!â A Fire-type PokĂ©mon user with a hairstyle that would be great with Head Charge just gave the order and leftâŠ

Vacation
The word "vacation" meant something else to the novelette than it probably did for most people. She had no desire for the relaxation in store, but more of the sightseeing aspect of having time off to do whatever she pleased.
The world is always moving, and she is afraid she'll miss something amazing if she doesn't move along with it.
Music
Unlike many people who listen to music while writing to fuel a certain emotion, Shauntal cannot even deal with a melodic tune in the background while she's focused on writing.
However, she does enjoying listening to music during other times. She much prefers any from of instrumental music, it being classical, or a simple song wound up from a music box. These have been her favorites ever since she was a young girl.

New Chapter || Cynthia & Shauntal
It was a new day to try new things to add something new to the friendship between Sinnoh's very own champion and the novelist of the Unova Elite Four. Shauntal's excitement followed her all the way there! Today was dedicated all to the two of them finding something special that they could enjoy together. The adventure enthused the novelist, along with wondering what they would finally agree on. It was going to be an overall fun day.
Shauntal didn't take long to become fully awake for once. She normally stayed up half of the night and had to sluggishly wipe the drool from her face in the morning. But today, she promptly wiped her face clean and got ready for the day.
The first stop was Nimbasa. Shauntal was personally a fan of the theatre, so she suggested that they go see the show that trainers allow their Pokemon to put on for the public. And today's show was their own spin on MacBeth, which wasn't one to be missed!
It was apparent that Shauntal was enthralled. It was only mid-way and she had shown every emotion one could think of. She laughed, she cried, she scorned, and made a few inhuman noises at the spectacle before her. These Pokemon were truly impressive!
Once the intermission came around, Shauntal rose to her feet and cleaned off her foggy lenses. She began to wonder how Cynthia had been enjoying the show. Shauntal was always the type of person who blocked out her surroundings when watching something such as a film or a play, or when reading. Her eyes stay fixated, not wanting to miss a single detail, and not wanting to lose sight of the trance a good piece of work pulls her into. She believed she had heard Cynthia let out a chuckle here and there, at least. After adjusting her glasses back onto her face, she looked up at the now pristine image of Cynthia's face.
"This is quite the show, is it not?"
