Send â to find my muse in the middle of a thunderstorm, alone and soaked.
It was supposed to be a relatively short walk to the next town over. The path was clearly visible, the morning had been drizzly but well-lit, and Bofur was feeling well rested after a night in an actual bed, so he had decided to forgo buying a pony and had simply set off on foot.Â
Boy was that a mistake.Â
The light drizzle had changed into a blinding thunderstorm that, while mercifully devoid of lightning, made up for it with massive amounts of rain that took visibility down to nearly zilch for Bofur. He didnât even realize that he had been driven off the path until it was too late for him to simply backtrack.Â
He couldnât help but wonder how things had gone so downhill as he stared around.Â
He was about to give up and just choose a random direction to start walking, when he noticed something moving in the darkness. Was there someone else caught out in the storm as well? Had he accidentally wandered onto someoneâs farmland?Â
âHello?â He called out, pushing thoughts of orcs, trolls, and goblins out of his head. He told himself that they wouldnât want the bath that this storm supplied them with. âHello? Is someone there?âÂ
