4 days until I’m 21. It passed by so quickly but still I made so much memories. I’m literally engaged to the love of my life. I’m a year closer to becoming a surgeon. And I have my parents by me. I’m loved by everyone I care for and I’m still full of love. I’ve traveled to Japan for the first time. It was just as magical as I thought it would be. On July 20, 2025 I never expected 20 to be any happier than 19 or that my life could get any better. I hope 21 treats me just as good as 20 did. What do I do if he distances himself and says its because of his own mental health

I’ve been through addiction. Homelessness. I’ve buried a child. I still showed up. Maybe not perfectly, but I still showed up for my loved ones.

So “I’m distancing myself because of my mental health” has never sat well with me. If you’re struggling, tell me you’re struggling. Don’t disappear and expect me to call it maturity.

I can’t stand the men nowadays. Everything is an excuse. Everything is avoidance. Nobody just says, “I don’t want this anymore.”

If you don’t have the capacity for a relationship, that’s fine. Just have the backbone to say it.
