Can we have Aerion getting baby fever after watching Dunk with Egg?

The way Dunk will pick up the boy when he is too sleepy to walk, or is tired. And how, despite needing to be a stern hand, Dunk still frets over Egg like a mother hen, wiping his face when it is dirty, even sharing food and feeding the boy, carrying him when he has nightmares, and listening to the boy's endless yapping patiently.

It drives Aerion crazy, imagining dunk fretting over a pregnant him and doting on their child. He drags the knight into his chamber and demands that he get Aerion pregnant immediately. Or else he will cut his head off.

I think it will be fun. Is there a fic like this?

Okay okay but imagine it

Dunk and Aerion, first time sharing a bed. Dunk’s got his big stupid knight arms wrapped all around Aerion like he’s a body pillow. It’s the middle of the night.

Then dunk decides he wants to turn over.

But does he let go? No. He just… rotates. Like Aerion is a teddy bear. Just scoops him mid-sleep and flips him to the other side of the mattress.

Aerion: internal screaming

Aerion: “what the FUCK was that”

And Dunk is just sleeping peacefully.

And from that night on? Aerion wakes up at least four times. Every single time Dunk shifts. Every. Single. Time. Because Dunk just relocates him like a pillow.

Aerion, at 3am, being slowly dragged across the bed by an unconscious himbo: “I am going to commit a murder and they will find it justifiable.”

Aerion is exiled for being pregnant but doesn't reveal who the father is. Maekar deeply trusts Duncan and sends him to be the prince's personal guard, unaware that Duncan is the baby's father. Egg is devastated and thinks Duncan is going through hell, not knowing that Duncan is exactly where he wants to be.

Dunk is trying to get away from princes, but the world keeps handing them out anyway. After Ashford Meadow, Dunk leaves too soon and Egg never becomes his squire. As prophetic dreams begin to change, Dunk is pulled into political plots and the orbit of Targaryen princes once more.

I think Chapter 8 may count as the end of Act 1. Now for the real adventure!!

Someone commented that this is like the Dunkaerion version of AKOTSK/novellas, and yep, that’s exactly it. I jokingly compared this fic to Final Destination, where certain events transpired that forced a separation in Dunk and Egg’s story at the start, so instead Fate has intervened and found a new prince to saddle him with to finish the story.

It won’t play out exactly like the novellas, but we will be seeing some familiar faces and cameos in the upcoming chapters.
