Sure. Sometimes a thief needs to blow off steam and someone who challenges him but also interacts well with him (because they do need to be friends with benefits) who is game to also blow off steam is pretty great for that. It would definitely be more of a heat-of-the-moment we-were-both-trying-to-steal-the-thing encounter than anything planned, though, and I doubt he'd want to bring a rival to Mouse Hole.

What if Ren met Mc’s child hood bestfriend for example their childhood best friend knew them longer than Ren has basically since a baby?

He's already met Leon! Leon has known Angel since they were babies, and we already know how Ren reacted to him in Day 1 ^^ But if you're asking about Angel's current best friend, then that would be Moth (who they've known for over 5 years), and we've also seen how Ren reacted to meeting Moth in Day 5. If you have someone different in mind for Angel's best friend, you can use the previous two characters as an example of how Ren would react!!

I've answered this a few times before with other yanderes, but Ren only cares about Angel, so he wouldn't bother interacting with people he's not familiar with — let alone someone with no ties to Angel. At most, Ren would likely fake a smile as he walks by, but other than that? Sorry, but he has better things to do (like stalking Angel).
