It was peaceful, the hotel was rarely quiet. After the birth of me and James’s daughter, our home was hush. I couldn’t say the same for during the delivery. It put The Cortez into chaos. The screams and wails from the room 64 put the hotel’s guests and staff off guard. But now that it’s was over, I had to focus on names. “How about Maisie.” I suggested. James shoke his head. “No Darling. She is not a Maisie.” James sighed. We have been at this for hours. “This is harder than I thought it was gonna be.” I held her close to me and kissed her forehead. “It will be worth it my dear.” He purred into my ear laying kisses on temple. I shifted so I could snuggle closer to him. “How about Charlotte.” He whispered in his smooth glossy accent. “Hmmmmm.” I hesitated, I had a friend named Charlotte who turned out to be a fake bitch. “Not Charlotte. I’ll explain later” I groaned, this is gonna take forever. “Are you losing hope already darling?” His piercing brown eyes bore into mine. “Her name has to be perfect, I want our beautiful baby girl have a suiting name.” I admitted. “Oh (y/n), she will. We will indeed discover one.” He murmured. At that a soft cry arised from the soft baby blanket from Liz. “Oh she’s awake.” I smiled happily. I cooed her and rocked her. “How about Alice.” The way James said it made me latch on to the name like a koala would do to it’s mothers back. She opened her dark brown eyes, like her fathers. “Alice.” I repeated. I looked into James love filled eyes “it’s perfect.” I whispered. “I promise to love you and protect you forever. Alice.” James swore. He gently dove down kissed her check. I could feel the tears in my eyes. I pressed forward and stole a very passionate kiss from James. This was the start of a new family, one that would last for eternity. (Sorry it’s so short. I hope you enjoyed!)
