WHY r people saying luke “kidnapped/stole” Grogu or that he’s going to Luke’s “hellish” Jedi school or something lol

like LUKE Skywalker is still finding out who he is and his place in the universe and just wants to allow other force sensitive beings to find him and find comfort in the fact that they aren’t alone and that they can learn from him how to use their powers.

Like thats literally it. Luke made the school to try and bring back the Jedi (( which doesn’t mean he wants the same system the Jedi held during/before the clone wars)) he’s just trying to find his way so others aren’t alone like he and Leia were with their force sensitivity.

JUST like Ahsoka , Ezra and even Kanan were finding their own ways to survive and keep the Jedi alive after order 66.

(( i blame TLJ for a horrible characterization of Luke that’s ultimately changed how the entire fandom sees him and I hate it lmao))

Luke didn’t steal Grogu. Grogu went with Luke voluntarily.

This idea that the Jedi are a bunch of baby snatchers is completely unfounded on anything in canon.

And for those saying it was cruel to spilt Din and Grogu up, or that Luke should have done as Ahsoka did and refused to train Grogu:

The whole point of Din’s quest was to reunite the Child with its people; Grogu was raised for at least 20 years in the Jedi Temple on Coruscant.

Ahsoka was the one who told Din to take Grogu to Tython to try and find another Jedi; she just didn’t want to train him herself because of her experience with Anakin falling.

Not only did Luke explicitly say that Grogu wanted Din’s permission to go, but it was Grogu who reached out to Luke in the first place.

Tl;dr: Luke Skywalker isn’t a damn baby snatcher, you guys are just mean.
