In the early 70s Sesame Street was created with an eye towards educating poor, inner-city children for free, and became a massive hit with all children. In 2016, faced with going off the air forever after facing conservative efforts to destroy public broadcasting since basically its beginning, new episodes became a timed exclusive for premium cable network HBO. In 2022 HBO Max, newly merged with and taken over by reality TV channel Discovery, removed Sesame Street episodes and spin-offs from streaming as a tax write-off and scheme to avoid paying residuals.

So I’ve more or less been pseudo interviewing some of my favorite authors and whatnot and I don’t suppose you’d answer a few questions for me for fun? Feel free to say no, seriously. But if you want to…

1: So what made you start writing? Have you always had a talent for it or is it a more recent thing?

2: if you were to be remembered for a work of art, what medium and then what genre/subject would you want it to be for?

3: what made you want to write off Kate/Yelena in particular? Did you see the macaroni scene and was like “yes, the chemistry is off the charts” or did you just like one of them and said the other character was a good a match as any?

Hi, sorry, I just saw this ask. I haven't been in Tumblr in a while.

Um, I started writing because my third grade teacher gave me a good star and wrote that I was a good writer on a creative writing assignment. So I guess I've been writing since I was 8 years old, stories and poems and whatnot. I don't think my writing skill has been the same since 8 years old, it's definitely gotten better over time, but I feel it's gotten substantially better over the last couple of years.

That's a good question. I think I would want to be remembered for multiple things, honestly. I've wanted to make movies for a long time but if I could only choose one then I would want to be remembered for a very big, very well written epic of a novel. Probably some kind of saga of a family (mine).

Yeah, honestly, what made me think of Kate and Yelena in a romantic way was the macaroni scene. The chemistry was, indeed, off the charts and I was curious to see if any fanfiction had been written for them the day that episode dropped. There was a handful of fics, and after reading several over the course of the run of the show, I was frustrated that there weren't any bishova fics featuring daredevil so I decided to write my own. And that's why I wrote my first bishova fic.

Yes, I think I will, I've just been very busy with school and getting engaged and other life stuff. I actually have a few drafts of a few different bishova fics mostly written, I just haven't had the time to polish them up. Probably will post them in August hopefully.
