Marley smiled at her brother, flopping on the couch and leaning her head on her brother’s shoulder - her happy place ever since she was a little girl, her safe place. It didn’t matter what was going on in the outside world as long as she had his shoulder and Savannah’s hand to hold. If she had those two things, nothing could ever touch her.

“Ummm, I think ‘Finding Dory’ is finally on cable if we wanna just watch that? I mean, I know that I saw it like, four times in the theater but…I mean,” she laughed. “I mean, c’mon, you gotta love it.”

Aiden smiled when her head hit his shoulder. If it were up to him, they’d probably be watching golf reels, but he knew better than to subject his sister to that. He was honestly just glad to be hanging around his sister.

“Finding Dory it is. I’m more of a Finding Nemo person but Dory will do. And you have to let me talk during the movie, that’s the deal, Marley Jane. Take it or leave it.”

It’s almost Mother’s Day and I’m all for appreciating the many types of woman in my life there’s one thing I can’t deal with. Aiden already made himself some popcorn. If they were going to be watching movies, he was going to be enjoying some popcorn. He felt like he was slacking in the brother department too, and wanted to catch-up with Marley. He might’ve seen her every day, but had he really seen her?

“Hey Marls, I literally have no idea what we’re watching because I don’t think anyone has those Brady Bunch movies and by anyone, I mean Netflix.” The teen then shoved a handful of popcorn into his mouth. “If you have any suggestions, I’m all ears.”

Yes, as long as I can have popcorn, I’m in. Heck, even if I didn’t have popcorn, I’d still be in. I could use some company too. Why though? They’re targeting the wrong people. You’re one of the best people I know.

I’ve only seen it once or twice, really, but if you wanna watch it we can. Nothing about them makes any sense, like, I’m fine now, I was a little bit eh, but now I’m fine. I just think it’s wild that whoever it is seems to literally hate my guts.

I sorta like the parody movies better. We should watch those, they’re pretty funny. Jealousy is the best form of flattery, or in this case hate. I hope you know that this isn’t okay. None of it’s okay, Marley. No one should ever make you feel like eh. Ever. You don’t deserve that.

I agree. But I also don’t think a lot of teens really realize their actions, until they’re a lot older. It kinda sucks but it’s also the reality.

I’m not really sure what that list is all about, it’s confusing really. For starters, why am I at the bottom of the list, I should be top ten. I thought we went over this already? and Second of all, why in the world do I need to buy friends? Seems like a waste of money if you ask me.

I forgot that list even existed. I thought the person running it had, I don’t know, gotten a life or made themselves much more useful. But I see that’s virtually impossible for whoever they are.

Anyway, I’m not the first to have parent issues around here and I won’t be the last. But not having a mother in my life hasn’t stopped me. So, whatever. Hope your little quest to be an annoying little shit paid off.

I don’t get why someone’s doing this. Or people, there could be multiple people. It’s just rude and inconsiderate and just not nice.
