honestly the stress of it all was starting to drive co mad, it had been bad enough before the disappearance but with a blink of the eye her family devolved back into arguments. hissing out a sigh, she shook her head as she straightened her back and stood straight up at the booth she had set up. “oh hello,” she called out, hoping to catch at least one person’s attention before continuing, “have you looked into the positions that the student government is offering this year? many of them are paid and those that aren’t, well they look absolutely wonderful on a resume.” it was a practiced question, almost as practiced as the smile that spread across her lips. “or maybe you’re more interested in the events and other services, either way make sure you know your representatives. i’m colby white, treasurer for the student government — can i help you find something today?”

aiden was walking around, glancing from booth to booth that were set up for the new school year. many people hopes their clubs will shine this year as they tried to recruit people. he stops at one booth in particular glancing down to see if any of the student government positions are open. personally, he never really thought about joining student gov, he wasn’t sure if he was the right fit. “hi there,” he greeted back kindly, smiling at the girl. “honestly? I was kinda thinking about it.” he admits, chuckling a bit knowing that there needed to be some changes around the school and perhaps this could be a good start to change it. “i was just looking, but i’ll definitely keep student government in the back of my mind.. well, nice to meet you colby white. i’m aiden... aiden rider.”

selene knew that everyone’s mind would be focussed on what has happened in the last few days so she had taken it upon herself to help distract everyone. she had found a nice spot on the grass and had laid out a large picnic blanket. decorating the blanket was plates filled with sandwiches, rolls, pastries, cookies, cupcakes and more. standing up, the young woman grinned as she projected her voice, “free food! free for everyone as a welcome to campus from the Cheerleading Squad!”

the energy at school was something that he never thought would happen... everyone just seem to be afraid or on edge over every little thing. so when he was walking around campus and noticed the large picnic, he rises an eyebrow. glancing around, his eyes met selene’s. a small chuckle escapes his lips. “free food is one way to get people to forget about something for a while.”

elle didn’t do much to begin with, but it was as if she was feeding into everyone’s nervous energy around her all day. feeling on edge herself, it was stressful for the princess. so having someone give off a different vibe from everyone else made her somehow more nervous. listening to his words, she was trying to process why he would ask her. “um, i guess? i mean, i was thinking about taking a drive to get some ice cream… if you wanna come… you, um you can join me but i’m not exactly the ideal company,” she stumbled as she still wasn’t used to hanging out with people alone outside of cj and sometimes lucy.

he knew that the energy around the school wasn’t as it was before the incident happened. after that, it seems like everyone else is on edge waiting to see what happens next and he honestly hated that. nodding his head, he send the other a soft smile. “ice cream sounds really good.” he admits, not remembering the last time he really had anything.

Chernie smiled. “Sure!” They’ve walked for a while around campus getting to know each other better and avoiding the subject of the recent crisis. They stopped to seat on a bench near a lake and Chernie couldn’t hold anymore but ask. “Are you ok? I know you don’t wanna talk about Everett’s disappearance but you don’t look fine…”

the two of them walked around campus getting to know one another more. it was refreshing to get him mind off of things for a while, however she they sat near a bench upon the lake, he sighs at the other’s question. running a hand through his hair, he sends the other a light smile. “yeah, i’m fine. i mean.. of course everyone being stressed out about it is really draining, but like i don’t really think there’s much that we could really do..”

“You’ll pay? Are you serious?” Imogen asked, her stomach grumbling. Under any other circumstances, she would have said no; she had her own things to focus on, and she’d be lying if she said she wasn’t a little suspicious of the son of Rapunzel being nice to her. These days, everything could be a trap. It was like the Isle all over again. On the other hand, she was starving and there was no way she’d say no to a free meal.

“yeah, why not? aiden questions, soft smiles spread across his lips. he hadn’t known the girl all that much, the only thing he really knew about her was that her name was imogen and she was mother gothel’s daughter. if his mother knew he didn’t know what she would do considering she still had the fear of something happening to him because of the barrier being down, but he didn’t care. he was willing to give anyone a chance. “what’s your favorite food?” he asks curiously.

Jay wasn’t expecting aiden to be talking to him, What with him being a prince and jay just being a vk. So when the boy cam towards him Jay raised his eyebrow a little. Then his face turned into a grin. “Dude. You had me at free food.” He wasn’t about to pass up free food at all. “But are you sure your allowed to be seen with me?” 

aiden knew that there was some sort of division between aks and vks ever since the whole missing prince business, however, he didn’t care. he was willing to befriends with all the vks, after all they weren’t their parents. chuckling slightly, he nods. “perfect, we can go to any place you like.. i’m pretty much in the mood for anything.” he admits before making a face. “listen, i’m pretty sure that none of the kids had anything to do with what happened.. plus you’ve proven yourself within the time that ben brought you guys over, so i’m sure it’s fine.”

Chernie didn’t think it twice and accepted the invitation “Maybe we two can go for a stroll around campus, I’m not really hungry to eat yet.”

aiden nodded his head at the other, just glad that he could take his mind off of things for a while. after all, everyone on campus had been so damn intense. “yeah, sure.. that sounds perfectly fine to me as well. wanna lead the way?”

everyone being so stressed out about the situation didn’t help much, his mother was already going crazy scared that him or his sister could possibly get snatched up next. that, however, didn’t stop aiden from being adventurous. “hey.” the brunette glances at the person. “wanna do something with me? anything? just -- i need to stop thinking about everett and those messages for just a split second. i’ll even pay if you wanna go out to eat.”

heyooo, it’s cassie again lmao i fell asleep last night before finishing his bio, but here’s my other baby ! 

( SHAWN MENDES || TWENTY || CIS-MALE || HE/HIM ) AIDEN RIDER is the child of RAPUNZEL & FLYNN. they’re currently a JUNIOR & PRE-LAW major at auradon royal university, where they’re described by friends as +CHARMING. however, others sometimes complain that they’re -CAGED. maybe that’s why they’re called the LION-HEARTED around campus.

🏮 being the oldest child of rapunzel and flynn, there were high expectations for him. because his mother was a princess and his father was a former criminal many people wondered where he would fall under. there were lots of talk around, but he didn’t care. talk started once again when they adopted his younger sister.  🏮 growing up, aiden was rarely allowed to go exploring unless one of his parents knew about it. a part of rapunzel wanted to keep her son locked away from the world, so no one could harm him, but with the barrier up, she was more willing to let him go out and explore. enjoy his childhood with his friends while he could.  🏮 aiden never wanted to let his parents down, which was why he followed along the princely manner and did what was told. growing up in the life that was stripped away from his mother at a young age. he grew up into a kind mannerly young man, but he did have some of his dad’s personality traits such as the sneakiness. using his charming looks, he could easily sneak things away from people as a joke before handing back their belongings. he never kept anything that he took from people.  🏮 despite all his kindness, aiden could be extremely cage and closed off. he tends to bottle up his feelings much more than what’s healthy. this would lead him to over think about things and stress himself out.  🏮 aiden has lots of hobbies, he grew up with the love of being on stage. whether it was singing, dancing, or performing. this resulted in him joining the drama club. you can also find him in the national honors society or on the fields playing football as the qb as well as ice hockey.
