How many days of school left do we have until break again? So ready to only have supernatural crazies to deal with for a while.
It's not like you couldn't just turn in all of the assignments up until that next break, and then proceed to go on your own personal holiday from here on until the end of that one. I assume you already finished them, right?

Kind of didn't have a choice, fell out of the nightmare before it ended. Not that I'm complaining, mind you. If you could have actually been there...seen the rest of what happened...I shudder to think about reliving that at all.

Yeah, of course. Saves me a lot of money on new clothes and shampoo. Not your nightmare, mine - I don't even know what yours was but I'm sure it was scary. Scary enough to be a nightmare. I'm talking in circles.
Awesome. All I needed was some hardcore nightmare action. Feeling 100% now thanks to that. We should do it again, right?
Eyes darted around at the fight playing out in front of him, but he kept glancing over at Ethan every few seconds. Jackson was behind a tree, trying to stay away from this unknown alpha and the group of hunters. It didn’t seem like Ethan noticed him yet, but he had the same idea in mind to stay hidden.
Holding his breath, he looked at the scene again for an opening to move. He’d be safer with Ethan, and Ethan would be safer with him.
Fuck. He never got his opening as the alpha stalked forward, and Jackson started to run the way Ethan had took off. They weren’t exactly near each other, but he could slowly start sprinting diagonally and head him off.
Thankfully, he was able to catch up to him, and he quickly grabbed Ethan by the wrist, nodding at him. “We need to fucking hide. Now.”
Ethan's hand was caught mid-stride and in a panic he jerked. The wolf nodded and said they needed to find a hiding spot, and though he agreed, there was nothing in his mind that made them friends.
"No shit I need to hide, but who are you? I'm not going to be led into a trap by a doomed pack member!" Ethan pulled away, wary, but not violent.
Danny slowly looked up, to see Ethan standing and Aaron turning to him. "I’m the one who lives here. So you’re invading. Get the hell out, dick." Aaron said and Danny could say that he had a cocky smirk on his lips. "What I do it’s not of your business. Now excuse me. I’m having a private conversation with my boyfriend”
Ethan was filled with a rage that few hunters - or other wolves - had managed to provoke. The word that fell from this fuckers mouth were like cement block leaden lies that created a wall he thought protected him from Ethan and his vindictive fury.
"Excuse...ME?" Ethan managed to growl out, as his fangs slowly began to fight their way out much faster than even he realised, leading to some minor bleeding. Of course, this only fed his bloodlust that much faster.
"I believe that we have a...misunderstanding of sorts you piece of shit. You see," Ethan began pacing around a wide circle keeping his now glowing eyes sternly focused on the intruders smartass smirk. "Danny there...doesn't belong to anyone. And on top of that, he isn't with you - he's with me." Ethan allowed a deep, guttural growl out to emphasize the words. Pausing his circular pace, he froze and locked eyes with the so called boyfriend. "Now, ordinarily, I'd say that this is the part where I give you a choice to leave or die..." He flicked out a single claw on his right hand, looking down at it as he spoke. "But, you're definitely not going to be leaving here alive so I have to sort of...augment that choice." Slowly, in a calm and orderly manner that starkly contrasted the violent burning of his soul in that moment, the rest of Ethan's claws made their way out on both of his hands.
"You get to choose what you want your last words to be. Pick carefully, of course, I tend to cut threats and mockery short while I'm much more lenient with repentance and apologies."
ETHAN!
"Will? Who’s Will?" Aiden was having a hard time following Ethan’s words and keeping a constant and steady sweep of the area around them. He’d gotten lucky Ethan had gotten away. Why was he so calm? Aiden forced himself to breath.
"We can’t go to the pack! They’re in a mood. They’ve been trying to get to you but then you weren’t there and then…Oh god. You’re okay right?" Aiden couldn’t breathe, but he felt Ethan’s finger and he clamped down on them.More to keep him from leaving again, but also there for comfort too. "We have to hide for a few days. Let them calm down."
Ethan could see - and smell - the fear in Aiden and he slowly began to realize what Aiden was experiencing. He let his brother clamp down as hard as he needed to on his fingers, letting him vent the fear building inside of his mind. Knowing that it would be nearly impossible to convince Aiden that the older and violent pack had been dealt with long ago by himself, he got an idea on how he could make this easier.
"Okay, I'll take your word for it." He said empathetically. "Will is someone I know, someone we can trust. He's married to a good alpha and we can trust them to keep us for a few days until this blows over, alright?" He felt awful lying to Aiden, but since none of what he said was really a lie - they would keep them, they were good people - he didn't feel like his brother would recognize that the entire scheme was a ruse.
He grabbed his brother by the shoulder and began to lead him to Will's house.
Was this a repeat of the memory loss? What was going on and why didn’t Ethan recognize her? Jen relaxed her arms, straying away from her daggers now that Ethan’s demeanor didn’t scream of attack. He was wary, but he didn’t look like he was about to attack her.
"Jen. Genevieve Belrose, the friendly hunter? Remember? We met at the diner—had milkshakes and fries? —I mixed you up with Aiden once and didn’t let myself live it down?" She says, brows raising as she tries to relay something, anything to jog his memory.
"I messed up Aiden’s bike accidentally, think he might hate me a bit for it?" She tries, raising her shoulders in a slight shrug. "Any recollection…Yes? …No?"
Ethan felt a small sense of attachment to the things she listed...but the feeling of comfort from them was at war with the current priority of escaping his pursuers. Half of his mind relaxed his body, and suddenly, the other half of his mind would tense it back to battle. This undulation of muscle tension and dread make him nauseated.
"I...feel like there is truth to what you're saying. I just can't feel it entirely with what I've got going on here. The details don't match up and right now, I don't have time to play timeline with you - there's a hunter clan tearing into a pack of wolves not too far from here and the alpha has me in her sights."
Ethan exhaled deeply, focusing his attentions and regaining control over the waves of emotion in his body. "Genevieve - er, Jen - if what you say is wholly true, then you need to come with me."
Blinking Silver Eye of the Full Moon [Nightmare Event] || Open
There will be no survivors. You can’t save them. You could never save them. You willfail.
The words keep echoing in her head, and no matter what she does she can’t seem to shake them off. Jen knows the werewolves are coming, knows they’ll be here any moment—and it takes conscious effort for her to pull out of her head and focus on what’s in front of her. And when she does, Ethan’s the last person she expects to see.
"Ethan? Wait—how did you…what are you doing here?" Jen asks, stopping her pacing as her brows furrow in confusion. Ethan wasn’t supposed to be in France, how did he—
But her thoughts are cut off as another howl rips through the air, her mind blanking as she’s pulled into the visions again. She can hear the heavy pounding, see the flashes of the alpha’s red eyes as they glow against the darkness of the forest, approaching the clearing quicker and quicker. Jen’s heartbeat rises as she scrunches her eyes shut, pressing her hand against her temple to pull herself out of the vision.
Her breathing is labored, stance snapped up tight. “Ethan you have to go, leave, now—you have to go before they get here, I can’t—” There’s not much she can get out before she hears the resounding growl from the bushes to her side. They were here.
She turns her head, her eyes meeting the glowing red of the alpha. Jen feels her throat close up dry, feet almost stumbling as she faces the killer—but she forces her body to work through the quivering muscles, work through the panic.
The last Belrose…has come to die. The alpha’s voice is a bleeding whisper in her voice, spurring her to pull into defense, arms raising as she spins her daggers into place and does her best to calm her rapidly beating heart. “Leave. Ethan, now. Leave.”
Jen's tension and anxiety put Ethan in a heightened sense of uneasiness. As this happened, he became more aware of the setting he was suddenly in. Cold, low-hanging fog rolled around them in light swirls, the moonlight crafting intricate portraits of the water droplets as they wafted through the air. Ethan shivered involuntarily as he took in what Jen must have already had time to absorb.
"Jen, where are we and what is going on? I can't just lea-"
Ethan's words were cut short as he began to focus on the growls happening in close proximity to them. Something sinister had decided to make its way to where they had found themselves. He glanced at Jen for a cue as to what they should do.
She slipped slightly this time in the mud as the growl made her scoot back a little, stilling only when he spoke. “With them who? Never mind, I’m not with anyone. I-I’m a friend Ethan. To you and Aiden, I swear. What’s going on?” Maybe it was just purgatory messing with her mind. Or maybe she’d finally cracked… or something had attacked and Ethan thought she was with them. Too many possibilities.
Ethan's head was in a haze of confusion. Her panic was much too real for her to be a trained hunter, and she knew both him and his brother by name. Considering that he didn't think he and Aiden had a reputation that large...impossible as it may be, he had to accept this small truth.
"I'll grant you this impossibility, but only because we don't have time to argue it. There is a pack and hunter war happening behind us and both sides would have no issue with tearing me apart. So, if you're a friend to me or my brother, we need to move."
ETHAN!
“Ethan." The relief that flashed through Aiden’s body was immense, and he felt himself relax. He moved to hug him before pushing him back and looking him over with dark eyes. "You’re not hurt are you? We have to move. Lay low until the pack calms down again. They didn’t get to you right?"
Ethan was taken back by the sudden embrace but went with it since it appeared to make Aiden feel much better. After hearing what Aiden had to say, there were more questions than answers.
"Aiden, what pack? Our pack? You look like you've been to war - did you tell Will and the other's about whatever attacked you? Whatever it was, no, it didn't get to me. Why don't we get you back to Cam and Will's house to clean up?"
Ethan reached for Aiden's hand tentatively, aware that something was clearly very wrong in his brother's mind.
"Ethan?" Danny let out looking for him. He was pretty sure he heard Ethan’s voice. But all he got was another punch from Aaron. "Shut up, you shit. Who the hell is this Ethan? Huh?" Aaron asked with a furious tone.
Ethan heard a call to him and another gasp for air. He quickened his pace and rounded the corner to find..someone standing over Danny, his fist still clenched from the blows. Ethan's blood boiled and he roared as he shouted.
"HEY ASSHOLE! Who are you and what are you doing?

How did it get so late? I should have left work half an hour ago. I was supposed to start dinner, Christopher’s going to be so mad.
