I am Jaafar from Gaza. I am currently in northern Gaza, and we have not yet been displaced to the south. Things are very difficult here — the cost of moving to the south is $1,000, and a single tent also costs $1,000, if we can even find a place in southern Gaza. The south is overcrowded, and renting a plot of land costs $1,000 per month, or even more depending on the area. 🙂😢

one thing they don't tell you about not getting proper sleep is that apparently it affects your ability to comprehend words. like you see words, but you can't read them. it's kind of like waiting for your camera to focus except the image isnt blurry ever and you just have to fiddle with it and be patient or else whatever the hell youre trying to photograph is gonna be completely unintelligible.
