I think of you often, too often perhaps. sometimes I feel this strong urge to talk to you.. sometimes i want to tell you everything about my day.. little details like what excited me, what drained or annoyed me, what i saw, how i felt. when i take pictures of the moon, or beautiful flowers, or a sunset, I wish I could show you and tell you how much I love the nature. I want to tell you about the ordinary things that happened..who visited us today, what they said etc. I think of you when it rains, as i sit by the window listening to the sound of rain and seeing the wind blow through trees far away. sometimes i wish i could atleast catch your glimpse somewhere, without you seeing me, whilst travelling or waiting at a traffic light. i wonder sometimes if you think of me as often as i do. I wonder whether I would be able to achieve my little dreams. I wonder if you'd be able to understand me. I wonder if you'd be as excited to hear me. I wonder if you'd be able to be gentle with me and my heart. sometimes I wonder if it's better this way because what if the reality isn't like the world I've created in my mind?

It’s beautiful to trust in the Lord of mankind, because Allah knows, and we do not. That is a healing answer to when we say to ourselves “Why is this happening to me?”. 

Because Allah knows, and we do not know.
