Tucked away in the streets of Shoreditch is the well known venue Village Underground, which packed out on Tuesday night due to the wonderful talent that is Rhodes having performed a sold out show there. Upon entering the site gig goers were welcomed by a blanket of smoke, almost as if someone...
Grimes has premiered a brand new music video for “REALiTi,” a previously unheard track that was once intended to be featured on her still-in-progress follow-up to Visions.
oh my god
hey i really really want to go to this gig at king tut's but i'm 17 and it's over 18s only and i was just wondering if you knew if they're strict with checking IDs there?
As far as I know, yes. Big Sixes (a bloody good band) had a big issue with them at a gig they had there. It resulted in them playing a set outside the venue for the people that came and were under 18. If you want to chance it then that's totally up to you but if you're living far away from the venue I wouldn't recommend it. I've done it a couple of times at other venues and not been asked for ID but they're different venues so ...
Hey have you heard of a band Speaks . have a listen if you got a min x
I haven't but I will do! Thanks x
Thunder only happens when it’s raining Players only love you when they’re playing
DANCING YEARS - WE DANCED LAST NIGHT Dancing Years, a five piece band hailing from Leeds are back with a new release ‘We Danced Last Night.’ The band played at Reading Festival this year and have supported acts such as Dry The River, George Ezra and Boy & Bear. They have built themselves quite the nice little fanbase that appears to only be expanding and it comes as no surprise after hearing this new song. Read more

Last night the band Big Sixes arrived in Glasgow to play one of the shows on their first ever headline tour. They got to the venue only to find out that it was strictly 18+ , the band hadn't been informed as there was a mix up therefore meaning that the fans didn't know either. In response to this, the band took to twitter to tell everyone that they would stand outside the venue before the show and do a set for everyone that had bought a ticket that was under 18. Not only did they promise to play songs that were requested but they also encouraged people that hadn't even bought tickets in the first place to come down and watch them. Big Sixes assured fans that come rain or shine they would play a short set for them outside the venue, were extremely apologetic and clearly gutted.
The situation really caught my attention because as well as being a fan of the band and being extremely impressed at how they handled the situation, it was just really heartwarming to see a band that obviously really care about their fans. They could have easily left it to their manager or the venue to sort everything out but they didn't. They took control of a situation that wasn't even their fault in the first place. I have seen it first hand with Big Sixes, they honestly treat their fans like friends...there's no real differentiating between family, friends and fans when they all come together to support the band.
