What is AITHFAH?

AITHFAH is a pseudo-role play / fanfic blog, where users will post scenarios as the characters of Hatchetfield using the ask box. Tumblr users will then decide in the reblogs or replies if they’re the Hatchetfield Asshole or not, just like the subreddit AITA. After a consensus has been reached, the post will be tagged accordingly. This blog is RP account friendly!

Please, don’t take this too seriously. This blog is supposed to be in good fun! If you’re feeling strong feelings about a certain post and/or feel the need to argue, simply scroll past or block this blog.

I (43M) took my daughter (18F) to a theme park that had this really tall rollercoaster. Only problem was that my daughter is apparently terrified of heights, which I didn't know about before we got on. The ride broke down in the middle of a storm, and she started having a panic attack, and so I helped walk her down. Except that I had to carry her phone, because her pockets are too small to fit in, and I needed to hold her hands. But the phone was so slippery that I accidentally dropped it. She was pissed off at me, and we had a massive fight where we both said awful things we didn't mean.

AITHFAH for cheating on my husband? I (34F) am married to a man (37M) I thought I loved. He’s always been a shitty guy, but before I was with him, it was just mild duechiness! I thought maybe being in a stable relationship would bring out the best in him, so I married him. I’ve never really been interested in lifelong romance, but I needed to settle down and he needed an anchor to help keep him calm! Or do I thought. Instead, it turns out that he’s even crueler behind doors. So I cheated on him with someone who was at least a bit nicer. But then they wanted to keep meeting up and it felt like it was becoming something romantic, and I cheated on them. And this cycle just keeps… repeating. My husband is totally cheating on me back, so I feel it’s at least kind of fair. And it’s not like he loves me like I love him… if I even do love him. I don’t know. I’m so confused. AITHFAH for almost shooting my kind of situationship? I (18F) am low-key down bad for this fucking nerd /aff (17M) and l didn't wanna actually kill him! This freaking ghost was hunting us down after we accidentally killed him and dismembered his body. But yeah, then he came back and started killing people so we had to stop him. My fuckass dad made my situationship dig up a book (I would pay to watch that man dig again) that was low-key high-key a demonic spell book??? So we summoned five inside out characters that were demons I guess and they were like "yoooo kill that guy you're down bad for"! Then the ghost swung by so we ran, and I was like no I'm not shooting you but then he was like "ok but I like maybe kinda am into you so I would have to shoot YOU" but like i didn't even steal the gun from the police!! Grace Chasity did that, who was there! But then I agreed to do it bc he kept asking and being all sweet and so I shot the gun BUT the ghost showed back up and caught the bullet so he didn't die dw and we got rid of the ghost. But am I the hatchetfield asshole for almost murdering him?? And no, this isn't a TROLL POST. stop being so skeptical LINDA (yeah that's right I heard u shit talking at the country club)

AITHFAH for killing the cast of my new musical?? I (67M) wrote a musical called Workin' Boys, but when I pitched it to the HCTLWW, they said it didn't pass the Bechdel test, whatever the hell that is. So, i was forced to put a bunch of talentless girls into the roles of my good college chums. AND one of them wanted me to change it from "football but for girls" to "football!" girls can't play football! My good college chums came to visit, and they told me what i had to do. so, i did it. i made some cuts in the cast and performed the show myself. it was marvelous! but, yk, AITHFAH?

AITHFAH for beating in a rich lady's face in with my bible to flee the country? So basically, one of my friends from church (17F) has gotten sick lately and keeps feeling the urge to sing about "seeds" or something. Since this illness seems to have spread all around Hatchetfield, I decided to look deeper into this matter and discovered that this might be a divine plague sent by some cruel God (??M). So me and my lesbian situationship (18F) tried to set up said elder God with my other friend's uncle (38M). But it turns out that the uncle is straight after all!
