This is a true story that happened to me while writing this blog. However, all the names/details have, of course, been removed, altered, or embellished.
A couple months ago, I was contacted by a Chinese girl attending University in the United States. She was in a long term relationship with her boyfriend back in China, whom she was constantly fighting with. She was also falling for her hunky American classmate, whom she had secretly slept with several times. She was unsure of what to do; she didn’t want to hurt her Chinese bf, but she wanted to be with her new classmate.
To be clear, when giving IRL advice, I don’t give “raceplay” answers about racial superiority and shit. That’s all kinky fun, but relationships are (somewhat) serious. However, it was clear that she was unhappy with her old boyfriend, and wanted to be with her classmate, so I recommended to her that “ripping off the band-aid” was the best thing to do. Dragging things out with her Chinese BF, or ghosting him, would just prevent him from getting back into the dating scene for longer. Moreover, staying with him would likely just make her, and by extension him, miserable. Many people stay in relationships because they don’t want to be the “bad guy” and end it. However, relationships (especially ones without kids) are a time where it’s OK to be a bit selfish. If you don’t like the person you are with, don’t feel obliged to put up with them (my own parents learned that the hard way)! I also advised that she not tell him why, just say that they “grew apart” or something, so as not to destroy his confidence. In the end she basically did just that, and soon after started officially dating her new white boyfriend.
A few months after that she got in touch again. She loved being with her new stud, but she wasn’t loving what they did in bed. Sure, he was good, and she enjoyed the sex they were having, but she couldn’t figure out how to get him into her darker fantasies, the kind she searched for on my blog, and others. So don’t feel shame for what you enjoy and, one day, you might get lucky!
