Atli Freyr Demantur, inspired by a stunning performance of his role in the I of the Storm music video. I love how gender is mixed and expressed visually through combining extremes like very masculine tattoos or a muscular physique juxtaposed against heavy makeup or feminine body language. 

I plan to do a short series of these in charcoal and charcoal/pastel.

Solas Approves... completing the set. Big thanks to beginnerfanartist for pointing me toward screenshots of Solas smiling! I tried to make him look happy, but 99% of his smiles are grimaces. Like a baby with gas, you can’t tell if he is laughing or just needs to poop.

Laughing Screenshots

I took a stab at pastels / conte crayon for my fourth Photoshop practice project. Getting a convincing traditional look? Failed! I am up for trying again and making a companion piece to Solas Disapproves, but I’d love to do a happy face for Solas Approves. I have never caught that egg laughing. Have you? 

I need close up screen shots with fairly good lighting and a big enough laugh to see some teeth. Does he ever do that?! If you have any, I’d love to score more references.
