Light yagami’s clear depressive symptoms aren’t talked about enough in the fandom. He is definitely not “just slightly bored” he’s anhedonic and intellectually lonely, due to his intelligence and how he’s always expected to be perfect. (The perfect student, perfect brother, perfect son) He’s popular, yes but he as barely any real friends who he actually cares about. The only people that he does harbour some semblance of care about is his family. No mentally well person would become a mass murderer with a god complex just to feel any form of dopamine boost.

since so many people are reblogging this the anime is Golden Boy 💖 its an ecchi comedy so expect the average "boobs bouncing lots of sex jokes" kind of humor but the art style and character designs are so pretty im just kind of fixated on that
