She's kind of a manic dream girl pixie that helps her lightner to learn to be more whimsical on her life, though that gets complicated later down the line

Hiii helloooo work is kicking my ass but I've also fallen back in love with ocs and rp hehe. Here's some details about him :3

He's a small TV that was gifted to Berdly, perfect for retro gaming. He's kind of a "what if" twist on Tenna as a character, where more than a "gameshow host" he's a mix between a butler and the owner of an arcade, still a host but not as flashy. He has the responsibility of taking care of the "arcade machines" (which are the representations of many videogames) and he does so as a supervisor that has employees that do the maintenance, he's very perfectionist tho, often taking care of everything by himself.

For full transparency i am thankfully not currently at risk of homelesness and have means for food but am still very much in trouble

Vinyl pants art study, and Tenna as the model with a shitty coloring.

When I said two weeks ago that I was imagining Tenna as I did the art studies this is what I meant.

I was originally planing on improvising more clothes but I didn't want to cover the pants and didn't want to take too long on something that was supposed to be a fast sketch over the art study... I don't think spending a week + clean lineart classifies as fast sketch, but oh well.

The actual art study that's obviously less relevant than TV man.

I was going for "low effort" practice, just trying to get the shapes of lighting and reflective surface. But I can't really do that, so as I drew more I spent more time on each drawing getting them more polished. I wanted more of an Impressionism style and that idea got thrown out of the window on the second attempt lol.

I did this sculpt and mini-diorama for the Mewgenics contest held on X, and although I don't see myself winning anything at all (there's some crazy good stuff out there), I at least made it my personal objective to learn from the process while staying within Blender.

It's not that I didn't know the steps of it all but rather to try and find ways to both speed up the process and find that "realistic" handcraft feel. Back when I was still on uni I made my final project about that aesthetic so I kinda knew what to look for: rough imperfect finish and getting the scale of the textures right.

I think I did get quite close to that feel I was looking for, but the lighting is what I'm not so sure about, I did rush it while barely remembering how to render within Blender...

All in all, I really like how it turned out and maybe I should do more characters in this style, but I'd have to look a bit more into sculpting and rendering in Blender.
