When you want something, turn to Allah. When you don't want something, turn to Allah. The point is everything you want and don't want can only be given and taken by Allah. Your hardships, your blessings, your pain and your happiness, can only be granted and removed by the will of Allah. So when you need the confusion to disappear, and when you need to understand the what's and the why's, turn to Allah. Turn to Allah and He will soothe your heart and comfort your soul, in ways that no one else can even try.

Yusuf عليه السلام knew that all the doors were closed. And yet, he ran towards them because he knew Allah would open them for him. If all the doors seem closed to you, keep running. For you and Yusuf عليه السلام have the same Allah.

Bilāl ibn Sa’d رحمه الله said:

Indeed, you have a Lord who is not quick to punish any of you. He pardons mistakes, accepts repentance, turns towards those who come to Him, and shows mercy to those who turn away.

I realized that when Allāh loves you, He won't necessarily bless you a lot with obvious or material things like a big mansions or cars, or even attention from the world. Instead, He blesses and favours you with: Instead, He blesses and favours you in ways that make you a better human being. He will give you a better sense of self-worth, He will give you knowledge, He will give you intellect, He will place opportunities in your soft heart to help others. He will mould you into someone who spreads kindness and love. He will put only meaningful people in your life so that it's only you and Him. He will give you a sound heart and a piece of mind. Blessings are not always obvious. But looking deep and realizing that you're blessed is real blessing. 🤍
