Storing Stamina for Events- AP/HP Stacking in IkeVil/IkePri
This strategy post will cover how to stack ads anc cocktails and use the stamina towards events. The IkeVil March update added an ad page where you can watch all your ads for diamonds, AP, HP, and story tickets all at once fomr one place. IkePri players are probably already familiar with this feature because it was implemented a long time ago. They work the same way. The only difference is that IkePri allows 10 ads for HP daily whereas IkeVil only allows 5.
Restraints
At any point, your AP cannot exceed 999/100. 999 is the upper limit. If your AP is below 100, you can use stamina items to replenish it. Once you get 100 AP or over, you cannot use any cocktails. It will also stop regenerating. For example, if I used a +100 AP cocktail when my AP is at 87, it will stay at 187/100. If I do a single escort, it will become 167/100 and remain so. If you are saving this AP for an event, you can't do any escorts in the meantime. I do not recommend stacking for new players who need to farm intimacy points for the main story.
How to Stack Cocktails
Before the limited cocktails expire and when your AP bar is where you want it to be, use the limited cocktails. You can only use up to 9 +100 AP cocktails, so might as well spend any extra ones, escort until you are happy with your AP bar, then use all the limited cocktails. Using all your cocktails when your AP is at 99 will give you the maximum amount of AP you can get. For example, if you use 3 cocktails when your AP is at 99, you will get 399 AP. Once you do a “max escort", you will use 380 AP with a remainder of 19. Another 1 AP will generate in 3 minutes and you can do another escort. However, this approach can be difficult because you will only have a 3 minute window to use those cocktails. When I try to find the happy place for me to start stacking, I consider how much AP I want to spend on the current event, how many escorts I can get for the next event, and how minutes it will take to charge a new escort once I clear my AP. For example, having my AP bar at 37 is much better than at 25. Although both of these will only give me 1 escort from natural AP, in the latter case I can do another escort in 9 minutes compared to 45 minutes in the former case.
Stacking Stamina From Ads
With the app update, we can also stack ads up to 999/100. See the table below for the what has changed.
Stacking AP Before An Event
Stacking AP is super helpful for story events, which historically in the EN server start at 3x LT for 1 hour once you choose an event route. Doing this lets you do up to 44 escorts (worth 9 full cocktails) at 3x LT just from ads, with another 5 escorts from natural regeneration. If you start from 100/100 AP, you can watch 44 ads across 5 server days to get to 980/100 AP. If you start from 99/100 AP, you can watch 45 ads across 5 server days to stack to 999/100 AP. To stack AP with ads, wait until your AP is at a place you like anywhere from 81-99. Aiming for 99 is possible but difficult because you will probably have to set an alarm or keep an eye on your AP so you don't miss the 3 minute window to finish the ad. I recommend to start stacking when you have 90 AP or above, so you will remain with 10 AP or above after your escorts, thus needing only 30 minutes or less to do another escort before the 1 hour 3x LT ends.
You can also stack your AP for Collection Events. However, they don't typically start with 2x or 3x LT with few exceptions (Elections, sometimes EN originals). If there's no event that uses AP that you are interested in, then might as well stack your AP every day. Otherwise it's difficult to tell whether it's worth the sacrifice to another event because EN does not publish the LT schedule ahead of time.
Stacking AP/HP During An Event for Lucky Time
Escorts during LT give more hearts/LP than during non-LT, so sometimes it makes sense to stack your ads when there's no lucky time that server day and save them for the next lucky time. The tricky thing is that whether it is worth stacking or not all depends on the player’s time zone/schedule, and whether the next LT is 2x or 3x. The only way to figure out which option gives more hearts/LP is to do the math for both outcomes and see which one gives more. The difference between them is usually small, so if you don't feel like doing the math, it doesn't make a huge difference. If you want to be more hands off with the event you can stack so that you can take a break from clearing AP. If you enjoy the min-maxxing tho, I will walk you through an example process.
I will use PST here since it's the “official” time zone for IkeVil. Ads reset at 12 am (midnight) PST.
Scenario: there's no scheduled LT this server day. The next LT is tomorrow at 8 am and it is 2x.
If I don't stack my AP: I would do 20 natural escorts today and 10 escorts from ads before sleeping at 9pm. When I wake up tomorrow at 6am, I will do 2 single escorts so that my AP will be ~100 at 8am, then do 5 escorts at 2x. In total this is equivalent to 20+10+2+(5*2)=42 escorts at non-LT.
If I stack my AP: I would do 15 natural escorts today so that my AP is at 100 at 9pm, when I will stack my ads. When I wake up at 6am, I won't do any escorts until 8am, when I will do 15 escorts at 2x. In total this is equivalent to 15+(15*2)=45 escorts at non-LT.
As you can see, it makes a difference of 3 escorts in this simple scenario where I can clear my AP when the LT starts. It gets more complicated if I cannot.
If there's more than 1 server day without LT, there are some things that apply to most players. Generally speaking, if there is more than 1 day of no escort LT and the next one is only 2x, it's not worth stacking and you should clear it as usual if you do more than 15 escorts/day. 3x LTs are generally worth stacking for if you do 20 or less escorts/day, but not worth skipping 2x LTs for.
I'm sure every one of our dear Villain boys has had badmouthing posts every once in a while. I wonder why this huge defensive wave always forms around a few characters… the same few characters. Do you think they are the weakest and need your protection?
Yes, I agree that referring to someone's work without links is the same as stealing. And using standard hashtags for a hate post is not very nice… And I wholeheartedly disapprove of it.
But... maybe we should all calm down and think about it for a moment.
Doesn't the person who made a hate post do it INTENTIONALLY to get attention? And you're playing right into their hands.
I don't like to block people. Blocking is the same as giving up on a person for good. I can lift the block anytime, but I doubt I'll ever do that, since I only block people whose behavior goes against my principles. But in this case, to avoid seeing more people encourage this person, I decided to block them.
wanted to share this here! plotted a bunch of the points for soiree events in both en & jp with the help of many others. you can use it for reference if you have a goal in mind! the functions are modelled based on the points so you should take those with a grain of salt but the points should be accurate.
the link will update automatically as I continue to add more point so just make sure to refresh every once in a while. if you have points that are missing do let me know! would love to add them. also for those unfamiliar with how desmos saves your changes won't appear on/save to my side so feel free to have fun with it! you won't mess anything up I promise
New Player’s Guide to Reading Ikemen Villains Main Story for Free
This guide will walk you through on how to clear main story routes for free in Ikemen Villains. It is also applicable to Ikemen Prince, barring the welcome event. It is completely doable, but you do need to invest some time, manage your resources, and be very patient. You will not be able to buy all the premium stories nor all the side stories for free. If you choose to spend, please please please do so within your means. Please still read through the game tutorial and explanations.
Once you have played through the tutorial and read your first chapter, familiarize yourself with the game mechanics. But do not join the welcome event (Wrapped in Wicked Romance) in the events list yet! Do not click on “start event”!!
For progressing the main story, you will need:
Story Tickets: Needed for reading 1 part of the story. You get 5 free daily, 1 more free daily with ad. These do not stack when the server refreshes at 12 PDT. You can also get story tickets that don't expire, but don't use them yet if you are new to the game and are still building up your intimacy.
Intimacy: Needed to pass story intimacy checkpoints. Get by doing regular escorts. You can get items from logging in that increase intimacy too.
Gold: Needed to pass attire challenges with normal attire unless you have diamonds, the premium currency for premium attire. Get by doing regular or story event escorts, liking and receiving likes from other players, and log ins.
Diamonds: The premium currency that can buy you most things in the game. Needed to pass attire challenges with premium attire. You get very little of them if you do not spend money in the game, so I advise holding onto them until you have an idea of what you really want to use them on.
Story points: Needed to unlock endings, epilogues, story cards, letters from him. Get by making the best choices in the story, or using items that increase it.
On your first day of starting the game, or as soon as possible:
Set up your escort team- Set your card with the highest BP in the leftmost slot of each team. Whichever card in the left most slot of your most recently used team will become available for other players to borrow. If they do, you get 20 gold. Add your next strongest card in the leftover slot. To unlock more slots you will need to eventually increase your attire BP.
Set up likes and follow other players- For each player (up to 50 players) you like your receive 20 gold. For each player (up to 50) who likes you you receive 10 gold. Go to the events page and go through the event rankings (but do not join the Wrapped in Wicked Romance Event!). Click on the players with strong cards (such as 5* or +99 4* cards) to enter their room, then like and follow them. You can follow up to 50 people. Try to hit all 50, you can always unfollow them later if you find better support cards. If there isn't an event with rankings, go to the menu> rankings to look at weekly rankings to find players to like and follow.
Once you have these two things set up, you can earn more intimacy in escorts and send likes more easily by going to your room.
Tip: To send a lot of likes easily, go to Attire>Liked List. There are 3 tabs-- <Likes Received>, <Likes Given>, and <Following>. You will always land on <Likes Received> first. However, you should tap to <Likes Given> and hit "like all" first, then go to <Likes Received> and <Following> to "like all". This is because once you send likes and click out of the page, your <Likes Given> will refresh to the people have just liked. If you first "like all" 50 players in your likes received page and accidentally click out of your Liked List, when you return your <Likes Given> when have the same 50 players as your <Likes Received> and you cannot send them a 2nd like that day.
Next, for reading the main story, use a walkthrough to make the best choices (+4/+4 story points). Unlocking epilogues require maxed out points for both blind love and mad love points. I recommend this walkthrough from A Dose of Otome because it also lists the attire name, amount of gold or diamond, and intimacy needed for each checkpoint. You can complete 1 end in 21 days if you watch the story ticket ads or 25 days if you only use the free daily tickets. Note that if you want to reread the story to clear the other end, you will need to pass all attire challenges and gather story points again. If you sell the attire for the mission for the pittance that you bought it for, you will have to buy it to wear it again to pass the challenge when you read the chapter again. For this reason, I don't recommend selling the mission attire unless you are absolutely sure you will not reread the story.
Doing escorts frequently in the early game will help you earn enough gold and intimacy. As soon as you get a stronger card, add it to your team. Make sure to use the strongest support card available from another player. If you do ~15 escorts/day (escort 3 times a day, each time 5 hours apart) you should get more than enough intimacy and gold to complete 1 end in 21 days. As you build up your card BP and attire BP in the game, you won’t need to do as many escorts. Clearing routes will only get easier.
Tips:
1) you can watch 10 ads for 10 additional escorts/day.
2) If you want to maximize your AP you can clear it every 4 hours so that it is always regenerating. Please don't sacrifice sleep though.
Moving forward:
Every day: login, play the gold gacha for free, go to your room and send likes to everyone in all three tabs, use your daily story tickets to read the story. Do frequent escorts.
Start completing the weekly mission board to the best of your ability to get extra rewards, such as diamonds for reading premium stories. Save your Eternally Cursed Card gacha tickets that you get from your logins to complete the mission board.
Long term:
>Update 4/17/26: In IkeVil, you can watch up to 5 ads per day to earn diamonds in the ad page, which you can access through a button on the upper left of the home page. Each ad drops 5 diamonds at a minimum, but up to 500 diamonds have been reported. In IkePri, you can watch up to 3 ads per day, but the minimum for each drop is 1 diamond.
Increase your attire and card BP to get more intimacy/escort. I don't recommend spending gold/diamonds on the gacha when you are a beginner. You can get attire items by playing the free daily gold gacha and reading the main story. When you start running out of closet space, you can buy more closets or sell some attires with low BP. If you want to reread the main story however, take care to not sell the mission attires.
As soon as you unlock the next escort slot, fill it with a card.
Tips:
1) You can buy the attire items in advance by going shop>attire. Start with getting the one you will need next.
2) If there is a story event going on, the shop (sets on sale) will have a closet set of 28 closets for 500 diamonds, which is better than market rate- 1 closet for 20 diamonds. I buy all my closets through the sets.
3) If you need more cards to put in escort, you can get a 4* card with 500 BP by selecting a different character for the main story. You will have the option to switch back to your old route’s progress when you reselect them.
Extras:
Premium stories require a lot of diamonds and you can't get all of them without spending money or waiting months to save up diamonds. I recommend reading them on YouTube and only buying your favorite ones.
Side stories require keys to his heart, which are difficult but not impossible to obtain. Outside of buying them with diamonds, you can only get them from events and the gold gacha. The good news is that once you unlock the side story, you can always buy them even after you change routes. Go to menu>memories>the character>story progress to use your keys.
Bond levels are not necessary for main story progression, but you do need to reach level 22 to unlock one of the side stories. Raising bond levels is a long term effort.
Event participation:
There are 3 main types of events- story, collection, and soiree. If you are just starting the game, I would calibrate your expectations for ranking in/completing these events (with one exception) as they are not beginner friendly. Always enter the events that give you entry bonuses that you don't have to spend resources to get (but wait on the Wrapped in Wicked Romance one!).
Collection events are the most new player friendly because you can just spend your AP and story tickets at your own pace and get some items if you aren't trying to rank. Because playing the main story is part of the collection event, having attires for the attire missions in the long-term will be useful for some advanced collection event strategies.
Story events are not beginner friendly because the progression depends on the player's attire and card BP. A new player typically can't use a full deck, probably does not have strong cards, and has low low attire BP. In addition, once you join a story event, you will have to use AP for event escorts to earn love points instead of intimacy to progress the event story within the event period. However, when a story event has a 2x or 3x lucky time, you can earn 2x or 3x gold from event escort compared to normal escort.
Soiree events use a separate stamina system so it doesn't compete with your main story progression. However, the soiree event progression does depend on a good deck of cards for the featured character(s). New players will be uncompetitive but can still earn some rewards.
>Update 4/17/26: IkeVil implemented a support deck only for soiree events so you can use up to 8 cards. You can expand your soiree deck by buying 3 expansion slots for 500 diamonds each, or 1500 total. I highly recommend doing this because even if you play soirees casually for items, it will help you get further with less escorts.
The one exception in event completion difficulty for beginners is the welcome story event Wrapped in Wicked Romance which has easier point requirements and ample lucky times, where each escort gives 2x or 3x love points and gold. Upon starting Ikemen Villains a new player has 30 days to join the welcome event, so I would recommend joining it when you have enough intimacy (or items) to pass through the next intimacy checkpoints in your route, but before the 30 day window ends.
Tips for welcome event and other story events:
Use your strongest team and borrow the best support card.
Look at the lucky time schedule and plan for your AP to be full right before or right as it starts. For example, if the lucky time starts at 11am and I woke up at 7am, I would do single escorts until there's 20/100 AP left. At 11am, I would be able to use 100 AP to do 5 escorts during the lucky time. Clear the AP before it gets full. Clear it again before the lucky time ends.
Do your ads during the lucky time.
Once you clear the welcome event(s), make sure you have enough intimacy for the main story again, then you can look at spending AP in other story events.
Do's and Don'ts:
Do your daily login, play the gold gacha for free, like everyone, frequent escorts especially early in the game. Do use a walkthrough. Do the weekly mission board and the daily ads (update 4/17/26) if you want diamonds.
Don't squander your gold or diamonds unless you are sure that you can pass through your attire challenges.
What if’s:
I got stuck at a checkpoint but don't want to waste the free daily tickets.
If you get stuck because of not having enough intimacy, gold, or story points, you can change to a different character because the early chapters have lower requirements while you catch up on your intimacy, gold, or story points. Note that changing routes can change the intimacy checkpoint because the system is cumulative based on the last one you passed. For example, each character needs 100 additional intimacy for the 1st checkpoint and 2400 additional for the 2nd checkpoint. If William is your first route his first checkpoint will need 100. When you reach his second checkpoint it will need 2500. If you don't have enough, you can switch to Harrison, and his first checkpoint will require 200. If you pass that and you switch back to William to pass William’s intimacy second checkpoint, it will need 2600. See this post for calculating intimacy.
If you don't have enough intimacy, check your inventory to see if there are items that can increase it and use them. If they are not enough, you can change to a different character and read their route with free tickets and play catch up with escorts, then switch back to your original progress.
If you don't have enough gold to pass an attire challenge, you can read a different character’s route while catching up on escorts. I’d recommend against using stamina items to refill AP if you want to save them for future events. Tip: if you already have plenty of intimacy, you can also do story event escorts during their lucky time to get more gold.
If you don't have enough story points, check your inventory to see if you have enough items. You can switch routes; the story point for each playthrough will remain separate and be there when you go back. However, the story point items are hard to obtain. If there is a huge difference between the points you need and the points you have (like over 8), you might need to wait for and read different routes for a very long time. If you really want to continue your current route, you may want to consider skipping the reward and getting it on the reread, or restarting the route entirely and use a walkthrough.
I started the welcome event too early. How can I clear it and keep reading the main story?
I would recommend prioritizing the welcome event as it is very beginner friendly and will not come back. I made the mistake of starting it too early without a full deck, enough BP, and intimacy. However, it is still doable. Follow all other the tips on maximizing your attire BP, card BP, and lucky time usage. You may be able to do a few regular escorts for the main story during non-lucky times. Switch between routes to keep reading.
For a very long time, I couldn't figure out HOW MANY POINTS are NEEDED for reading a story. I naively believed that only the first ending was cheaper, and the rest were the same. But no. I created a second account so I don't have to worry about the problem of "I'm not sure if I've recorded to the end." And I took screenshots for you.
ONLY SE (sweet endings). For those who don't know… In this game, the normal endings are called sweet ones. In other games, they are called bitter. I have no idea why. I think the developers can't came out what this ending is about. We receive NOTHING for reading them. But I like those endings. They are usually more gentle, more… emotional ones. And in the case of the Villains, they give more information about the boy.
last check on 1 - 2 - 3 ending
6300 - 17640 - 31185
===================
6300 for the 1st ending
11340 for the 2nd ending
13545 for the 3rd ending
===================
ONLY PE (premium endings). The ending that gives us diamonds as a reward. Most people only read them… because of the reward.
last check on 1 - 2 - 3 ending
8000 - 22400 - 39600
===================
8000 for the 1st ending
14400 for the 2nd ending
17200 for the 3rd ending
===================
So, we have formulas.
First story*1.8 = Second story
First story*2.15 = Third story
Works for both endings.
===================
When it comes to the combination (SE+PE)…
Reading both SE + PE for the first time costs 20k.
But if we take the numbers that I showed you above.
If we start with PE: 8k + 11340 = 19340
If we start with SE: 6300 + 14400 = 20700
So… there is another formula… But, since I'm F2P in this game, I can't find the full numbers and crack it… Maybe later.
I wonder if the formula is the same in other Ike games?..
Another graph update. I am past lvl 45 now, so unless other people add more data this is the final graph from me. Link to original post and how to add data here. I will keep the folder open to editing for another 3 days. Thank you to the anon contributor who added the data for level 39/40!
It looks like for this event Cybird dramatically raised the pts requirement leading up to lvl 15 or 16. I can't conclusively say it's lvl 15 since I don't have the lvl 16 data. However, I suspect that it is lvl 15 because that is the Early Clear Bonus requirement. And then the rest of the graph has the same exponential curve albeit at a slightly steeper curve as the past birthday Soirees.
Opinion- Personal Thoughts on the Future
The point increase is unfortunate. But given that the event stories are partially voiced it is understandable. Still, Cybird is certainly pushing players to reach higher soiree points. In the past EN birthday Soirees, the shop only sold 1 last dash set (the best value soiree set costing 4,950 dias, only available in the last 24 hrs of the event). In A Day with Jude Jazza, the shop is selling 3 of them. I think that on top of pushing players to have stronger cards of their Oshi to prepare for Soirees, Cybird is also pushing players to spend additional diamonds on the Soirees themselves. Case on point- Soirees existed to encourage players to collect strong cards because otherwise they would have to spend a lot of diamonds to get the reward of their Oshi. I ranked and got my +99 Jude card at a collection event for this, and was able to get his BD epilogue without spending diamonds on refills. I reached about 90k pts by the end of the event, passing lvl 45 and getting his epilogue. For A Day with Jude Jazza, the pts requirement for the epilogue was 104k. Even with the extra day of the event I would not have reached 104k pts without spending dias on sets/refills. So now, even with a decent deck, diamonds needed to be sacrificed to reach the epilogue. I bought the last dash set.
Am I playing into their hands? Yes. Will I keep playing into their hands? If this keeps happening though, I won't be able to afford to.
Especially given what's happening in JP lately, it's likely that Cybird will keep upping the pts requirement (and without transparency), moving the goal post, in a sense, so that we players are always needing to collect more cards or spend more diamonds. The irony is that Soirees used to be a rewarding event for players who avidly collected cards of their Oshis. In JP, increasingly, they are the new milking machines for the very same stans.
It has become clear that the Soiree Points needed/lvl are significantly higher than the past BD Soirees, so I am running a small project to map out what the points/lvl are. Reblogs appreciated! If you are interested in seeing what has been tracked, see the google sheets here. If you are interested in contributing, keep on reading.
Project: Archiving the Soiree Points need to reach Soiree Levels for the records.
Purpose: It can help us players understand the points needed (and thus, resources needed) for future Soirees. If Cybird raises the Soiree Points, we players would know by how much and can hold them accountable.
Scope: I don't necessarily need each soiree points/level for all 45 (and later 50) levels but having more data can be helpful.
How it works
The event page displays your current level, current soiree points, and how many points are needed to reach the next level. Based on this information, the total soiree points needed for the next level can be calculated. Using the screenshot on the right from Roger's BD Soiree, I can calculate that a total of 62,177 points are needed to reach level 40.
Because sometimes a full escort/using scones raise multiple soiree levels, I alone cannot land on all the levels. In addition, I do not have strong enough decks to reach high levels for a majority of Soiree events. Therefore, I need help from players who are going to be reaching the higher levels.
How to participate
1) As you progress through the event, take screenshots of the Soiree Event Homepage and check the google drive folder and google sheets to see if there are any missing levels.
2) If you have a screenshot of a missing level, crop it to show your current level, current soiree points, and how many points are needed to reach the next level. See example above.
3) Upload your screenshot to the google drive folder.
4) Rename your screenshot to the level that the screenshot currently is on using double digits (eg. 03, 44). For example, the Roger screenshot above would be named 39.
Thank you very much and best of luck to those who are playing this event!

For Soiree Events, the game tells you the rewards at each soiree level. What it doesn't tell you is how many points (read: effort and resources) are needed to reach the levels and hence the rewards. I found a table of Soiree Pt Needed/Lvl for Season 2 BD Soirees (Will Apr 2024-Ring Mar 2025 in JP) on the internet from a JP blog and the levels that I was a able to confirm were correct for EN Season 2 2025 Darius, Roger, and Jude's BD Soirees (EN is 1 year behind JP). I plotted the table and it made a smooth exponential graph (see above). The table is below.
Note that while it is great for references, Cybird can change these numbers at anytime, precisely because they do not reveal the points/lvl. Jude's non BD Soiree Event "A Day with Jude Jazza" have significantly elevated points than the BD soirees.
Spoiler alert for Ring's 2nd Season BD Soiree: Here is the link to the Japanese Blog I got it from.
This guide was made for Ikemen Villains and can be found on their official X/Twitter page. Ikemen Villains will be using the same birthday party system as Ikemen Prince; so if you already play that game and have experienced party events, you may scroll past this.
For simplicity's sake, I will be shortening "Deep Love" into DL in this guide.
Disclaimer(?): Any tips before the divider are from the official X/Twitter page, not myself. My personal inputs will be under the divider and I recommend you take a look at them if this is your first ever IkeSeries birthday party event.
What is DL Event?
During the event, you can accumulate DL points and increase your DL level to earn various rewards such as stories and avatar items.
DL Escorts
DL Escorts will give you the DL points you need to increase your DL level.
These escorts make use a stamina pool that is separate from the standard ones (for intimacy & LP), known as "AP". AP replenishes at 1AP/3 minutes.
You can make use of diamonds and scones to replenish your AP.
Stamind cocktails cannot be used to replenish AP.
Using The Right Cards
When participating in DL escorts, you will earn more DL points by using the cards of the featured character (e.g. William in his own birthday event).
Using cards of other characters (e.g. Alfons in William's event) will result in the amount of DL points received to be reduced to only 1/10 of the originally obtainable points.
The more cards you have of that suitor in your escort card deck, the more DL points you'll get!
New Consumable Items
1. Scones
Scones can be used to replenish the AP required for DL escorts. By tapping into the event page, you may receive 1 item in the morning and 1 at noon. Be sure to log into the event page twice a day during the DL event!
2. FV Timepiece
FV timepieces are meant for triggering a Fever (FV) Time to earn double DL points from DL escorts. You will receive 3 of this item upon completion of the event tutorial.
You may use these items to trigger FV Time at your preferred timing.
3. Milk Tea
This item directly increases your DL points, just like lipsticks in story events. Recommended when you wish to quickly obtain rewards.
Of course, scones and milk tea will also be available for purchase. Please practice financial literacy and spend responsibly.
Fever (FV) Time
There will be a FV Time with triple points at the start of the event! Total of 3 FV Time, please refer to in-game schedule.
Tips !
1. Choosing your cards
As mentioned above, the cards in your escort party matter during DL events. You'll want to aim for having all four slots unlocked and include as many cards of the suitor as possible. Yes, even a 2☆ card of the birthday boy will be much better than a 5☆ of another suitor.
The higher the card's 魅力 (or BP in IkeVilEN), the more DL points you'll obtain during event escorts. Look at the image below for example: a +99 4☆ card has significantly more 魅力 than a 5☆ card.
Take this into account when selecting a guest card too!
2. Spend your diamonds wisely
Firstly and most importantly, DO NOT spend your diamonds on milk tea. It costs the same as an AP refill item, but you can get at least 3 times more DL points with a single AP refill as compared to spending one milk tea (think +350 DL points VS +100).
3. Free +50AP Items
You get two items per day by logging in during specific times of day. If you're aiming for the early clear bonus (4☆ CG card), you can use the items until you obtain the bonus then save them for future fever times.
4. When to use clocks
If you're aiming for ECB and didn't manage to hit the milestone during the first FV time, you can use your clock to give yourself a little boost with the x2 FV time. Otherwise, it doesn't matter when you use the clocks. Just remember to use them because they don't carry over to the next DL event.
5. Ranking
I can't speak for other suitors, but making it to Top 50 during Liam's 2024 DL event cost me 14,950 diamonds and Liam's the most unpopular suitor in the JP version. Expect to spend 2 or even 3 times more for other suitors and especially popular ones like Ellis & JUDE.
What I did was buy the 10,000 dias set right off the bat when the event started, which gives me x40 AP refill items (+100AP each) and x35 milk teas. Personally I think this is the most reasonable as a first purchase because it also comes with a chibi... and you're probably gonna want that anyway, since you're already spending this much.
Afterwards, I didn't buy anything else until the final 3x DL point fever time where I bought one of the fever time sets for 4950 dias that included x40 AP refill items and x25 milk tea.
This is more of a general ranking thing: don't spend all your items during the first lucky time. There are plenty of players who remain at lower ranks (e.g. borderline t100) while hoarding their items to spam escorts if they find themselves falling too far off the ranks. The escort spams typically happen during any of the three x3 DL point fever times. I suggest you use your items to get yourself to a somewhat safe rank (this is subjective based on suitor and your own discretion, you understand your man's popularity the best) before saving the rest to maintain your position + spam escort during fever times.
I cannot emphasise this enough: PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE ONLY SPEND WITHIN YOUR MEANS. YOUR 2D MAN IS NOT WORTH GOING BANKRUPT OVER.
Cheshireliam's IkeVil Guide for Soiree Events (called Deep Love Events in JP) is pretty helpful. They mentioned the 1:10 ratio that I tried to investigate here. While it seemed to apply to 1 of my cards/with my deck at a high bp, it did not seem to work on the entire deck at a low BP. If anyone finds the magic formula, please tell me.
(or, how to get birthday stories and birthday CGs for free*)
* some caveats apply
Starting from the 2nd anniversary, with Leon's 3rd birthday, IkePri will no longer be selling new birthday stories the way they are done now (don't worry, you can still buy the old stories if you want them!).
Instead, they debut a new type of event called a Party Event, which is kinda like a story event but with a couple of quirks. By participating in the event, you can get the birthday story for that character as well as the birthday CG potentially for free, as long as you fulfill a few requirements first.
I myself have been able to get Yves and Licht's birthday CG card, the birthday story, and His POV versions of the story without spending a single diamond.
In case you wanted to start preparing for the events, here's a guide about how they'll work and what you need in order to get everything.
TL;DR requirements
To give yourself the best chance at getting the card and stories, you will want the following:
All four card slots unlocked (thus at least 10k BP from avatar items)
At least one 5* card of the birthday boy
The ability to be pretty on the ball about using your stamina properly (not letting it cap for too long, ability to check in semi-regularly throughout the day)
You may be able to make it without 4 slots if you have lots of 5* cards of the birthday boy, but I'm not certain, as that's not a situation I've found myself in.
So first of all, how do Party Events work?
Like I said before, they are kind of like Story Events. You do special salons and get Party Points for doing them. Accumulating Party Points will raise your Party Level, and every time you make it to a new level milestone, you get a reward. There is an early clear bonus to reach a particular level within a certain time after the event starts to get extra rewards. There are ranking prizes, and also 2x and 3x Lucky Times.
But, what are those quirks you mentioned?
Party Salons use a separate stamina system than normal events. In one sense, this is a good thing: Birthday Party events often happen while other events are ongoing, so by using a separate stamina system, participating in one event doesn't use up your stamina for the other. In another sense, this is a bad thing: you cannot use any tea sets you have previously saved up because they provide normal stamina refills, not the special stamina refills.
The lucky times work slightly differently:
The above is the lucky time schedule as shown by the game for Chevalier's birthday event. There is a 3x Lucky time for 32 hours when the event starts, and another 3x Lucky Time for the 30 hours before it ends.
But I said there were 2x Lucky times, right? Where are they?
The answer is: they are whenever you want them to be.
When you enter a Birthday Party event for the first time, you will be given 3 of an item that will allow you to trigger a 2x Lucky Time whenever you want. This lasts for 30 minutes.
(I used up one already which is why it says I only have 2)
These items expire at the end of each Party Event so you can't stockpile them for one character. And they are also disabled if there is a 3x Lucky Time ongoing, to prevent you from wasting them.
Another quirk of Party Events is that visiting the Party event page twice a day (once after 12 AM JST and once after 12 PM JST) will give you an item that restores the special stamina used in Party Events (called AP). You get a +50 AP item each time, and again, they expire at the end of the Party Event so you can't stockpile them for the future.
And the last major quirk of Party Events is what determines the amount of Party Points you get: the more of the birthday boy you have in your party, the more points you get.
Having cards of the appropriate character is EXTREMELY important to get points. Even low rarity ones are better than using a different character. To illustrate, look at these two parties below (for Chevalier's party event):
The first one is all 5*s, but none of them (except for the guest card) are Chevalier. The second party is a 2* card and the others are 3*s. And yet, they score the same amount of points, +21.
This party of 4*s is what I'm using for Chevalier and they score +71, more than three times more than the 5* party with "wrong" characters
Basically: fill your party with different cards of the birthday boy. Even if they're 3*s, even if they're 2*s. But of course, still prioritize 5* cards if you have any as they do give more points than a lower rarity card of the same character.
(If you want to be a good friend, change the leader of your 1st party to be your highest rarity card of whoever is having a birthday right now, as that determines which of your cards that people following you can borrow, because guest cards count too!)
A few more miscellaneous things about Party Salons: you don't get Bond Points for doing them, you cannot watch ads to get a 20 AP refill like you can for normal stamina, and there's no chance of getting a Surprise Bonus from doing them.
Now, about rewards.
To get the birthday story (which comes in 3 parts), you will need to reach Party Level 20 to get all of them.
To get the birthday CG card and His POV of the birthday story, that is an Early Clear Bonus. You need to reach Party Level 15 within 56 hours of the event starting.
Finally, there are bonus rewards for ranking which is beyond the scope of this guide since I doubt that they are possible to get without paying. But I will give a note at the end about the ranking rewards.
Here is a list of all Party Level rewards (lots of goodies!), and the corresponding point numbers that you need to achieve them.
Green cells are story rewards, Pink cells are avatar rewards.
Every 2,500 points after level 30 gives you an extra chibi (level 22 reward).
Here is what Yves's avatar items look like. They are pretty much just colorswaps from character to character.
And so, if we want the regular birthday story, his POV story, and the card, we have two goals:
Reach Party Level 15 within 56 hours
Reach Party Level 20 before the event ends.
And guess what? If you fulfill the conditions I set about in the tl;dr up above, then you can reach them without spending a single diamond!
These were the teams I used to get Yves and Licht's birthday stuff (one 5* card, and the highest BP cards I had. Once I got to level 15, I replaced the lowest BP card with the birthday CG, since it has 750 BP):
I reached Level 15 with about 3 hours to spare for the ECB, and ended up around level 22-24 by the end of the event, comfortably having gotten the 3rd part of the story.
I also made changes to who I was following, to ensure that I was following as many people with a 5* of the right character as possible.
The strategy I used was:
While the first 3x Lucky Time is ongoing, do as many Party Salons as you can. When you get the 50 AP item from logging in, just use it as soon as you can. You want to maximize the number of points you get during this time, so as much as you can, ensure that your stamina won't stay capped for too long.
After the Lucky Time is over, but before the end of the 56 hour period for the ECB, don't use up your AP recovery items. But I do activate two of the 2x Lucky Time items if I have 100 AP. Might as well use them up to get some extra points towards making the early clear bonus.
If you have one 5* card, this should put you in a position to reach Level 15 a couple of hours before the deadline. You can activate the final 2x Lucky Time bonus and use your stockpiled AP items to get over the edge. Of course, if you have more 5*s, it'll be faster for sure.
Then, after you have gotten the early clear bonus, go back to stockpiling AP recovery items. Just do your Party Salons as normal. And when you get to the last 3x Lucky Time, dump all of the AP items and do all the salons. You should make it to Party Level 20 easily.
Now, if you're aiming to try for Level 30, or even to rank, then maybe this isn't the optimal strategy. But I am only concerned with getting the story and the card, so this works well enough for me. Maybe someone else has a better or more efficient strategy too.
But what if you don't have a 5* card?
Well, in that case, you are probably not going to be able to make it without spending. For Leon, Nokto, I wasn't able to make it to the early clear bonus or to level 20, and I am probably not going to make it to Chev.
In that case, you are probably going to have to buy some sets/items. There are AP restoring items, as well as items that directly raise your Party Points. But I don't know how cost-effective they are or which set is better than the others.
Ranking?
So! When I said that you can get all the stories for free, that is prooobably a lie. Because there is an epilogue from the suitor's POV that is only given to the top 100 people who rank.
Yeah.
I highly doubt that that is going to be achievable without spending, particularly for more popular characters. But if you want to try for it anyway, I salute you and wish you the best of luck.
Additionally, there is another thing:
That little thing down at the bottom right of Yves's birthday card says that getting 5 more copies of the card will cause the illustration to change. But, if you go back up to take a look at the rewards list for Party Levels, you can't actually get any additional copies of the card. So how are you supposed to get 5 more copies?
The answer is by getting to rank 30 or above.
Yeahhhh.
Edit (25 Nov 2022): Thanks to a survey on the JP app, I discovered that the image "changing" is just the character's signature getting put over the card, as shown below. It doesn't actually change the illustration of the card.
And one final thing about ranking is that being in the top 200 will give you a birthday cake avatar item. This isn't just a color swap between the suitors, there are actually some design elements that are different between them. Like there's a stack of what I assume are fondant books on Chevalier's, Yves's cake has cat ears and a tail, things like that. And everyone rank 200 and above will get them, but if you are #1, #2, or #3, your cake will be slightly special in that it'll say your place on it for bragging rights, like so:
Here is a full summary of the special rewards that come with ranking (not including the regular ranking rewards like diamonds, gacha tickets, or gold):
And that should be it! In case anyone has any better advice about how to do party events, please do say so! And if anyone has any questions or if anything is confusing here, I'd be happy to clarify!
Reccyls did a nice guide on IkePri Party Events that also mostly apply to IkeVil BD Soiree Events. The ranking rewards are different. Also note that for IkePri now you can watch 10 ads to refill HP and for IkeVil 5 ads to do the same.
Building Your Strongest Deck for IkeVil Soiree Event/IkePri Party Event
For your own deck:
1) Make your deck with only your BD boy/featured character cards with highest BP. You can use the character filter and sort by highest BP function.
2) Go into the Soiree Escort page and check the soiree point predictor- the number in the box right above the deck.
3) Play around with your deck by swapping out your weakest (read: lowest BP) BD boy card with your highest BP non BD boy card.
4) If your SP Predictor decreased, go back to your original all BD boy deck. This should be your strongest deck.
5) If your SP predictor increased, keep testing by repeating step 3 with your new deck until your SP Predictor decreases. Once that happens, change back to your previous deck, which should be your strongest deck.
For your guest card:
Use the character filter to find BD boy guest cards. Typically on the EN server, +99 4*s are the strongest. 5* cards need to be ~ lvl +30 for them to compete with +99 4*s. I recommend checking the Soiree/Party event rankings to follow players with strong cards.
Check out my post on the Soiree Point System if you are interested in the details.
Shameless plug: if anyone needs a +99 4* Jude for his Soiree Event in IkeVil EN, my friend code is P4GX4R7VN, in game name Adelaide. Best of luck everyone!
Jude's Soiree Event was here (happy belated birthday, Jude), and that meant that I have enough cards to play around with to test the soiree point (SP) system. So this post is here to reveal my process and findings on the soiree point system.
Findings
Here's the BLUF if you don't want to read everything:
BD boy gives more SP than non BD boy by a wide margin. 3* BD boy > 5* non-BD boys. 4* BD boy > +99 4* non-BD boys.
The higher your Soiree Point Predictor, the less incremental SP you get from upgrading to a stronger card. This goes for the guest card as well but the difference seems marginal.
Process
All these screenshots are taken at non lucky time.
This is my strongest Jude deck, with a total card BP of 7,395 excluding the guest card. The guest card is a +99 4* of Jude with a BP of 2,295. As you can see from text box right above my deck, I am guaranteed 175 SP with every 20 HP spent. I am going to call this the SP Predictor to not mix it up with total SP (first text box).
BD Boy vs Non-BD Boys
I first wanted to see how much stronger the BD boy is than a non-BD boy. So I swapped one of my 5* Judes to 5* Elbert, which has the same BP of 1700.
As you can see, although the card BP and guest card remains the same, the SP predictor decreased by 6 pts.
This leads us to Conclusion 1: BD boy gives more SP than non BD boy at the same BP.
Okay, but what about a BD boy card that has a lower BP? How much does the BP difference need to be for a non BD boy card to be stronger? I used some Jude cards of different rarities to find out.
BPs: 4* Jude- 650, (+8) 3* Jude- 305, Jude's story card- 120, (+3) 2* Jude- 65.
By changing my 4th card to a 4* Jude card of 650 BP, my total BP at 6345 went down by 1050 compared to having a third 5* in my best Jude deck and my Jude + Elbert deck. The SP Predictor, now at 171, went down by 4 pts compared to my best Jude deck but is higher than the Jude + Elbert deck by 2 pts. Lowering my BP by another 345 pts to 6000 BP with a Jude 3* decreased the SP Predictor by another 1 pt to 170. However, this is still higher than the Jude + Elbert deck at 169. At a BP of 5815, the all Jude deck now has the same SP Predictor as the Jude + Elbert deck. When my BP gets to 5760 in the 3rd deck, the SP Predictor is now lower than the Jude + Elbert deck.
From this I can order the strengths of the cards from highest to lowest SP:
1700 BP BD boy > 650 BP BD boy > 305 BP BD boy > 120 BP BD Boy = 1700 BP non-BD boy > 65 BP BD Boy.
Since around 120 BP of BD boy seems to be the border for the SP to be equivalent with a 5* non-BD boy, I wanted to take a closer look.
BPs: (+5) Baby Jude- 205, Jude Story Card 2- 150.
The 3 star cards at BPs 120, 150, and 205 all give the same SP as 1700 BP Elbert. And you know what? My brain is mathing.
1700 ÷ 120 = 14.2
1700 ÷ 150 = 11.3
1700 ÷ 205 = 8.3
These numbers are very close to 10.
I really want to hypothesize that BD boy cards are stronger than non-BD boy cards by a factor of 10.
And it seems to be the case when I already have 3 slots filled with Jude. But does the factor of 10 apply to the entire deck? Let's find out.
That doesn't seem to be the case, unfortunately. When I tried to lower the BP of the guest card, things got even weirder.
Guest card BP: 817
The SP Predictor got very low despite the guest card BP being lowered by less than a factor of 10. So it seems that the guest card is a huge factor to the SP Predictor and there is no simple multiplicative formula for matching BD boy card BP to non-BD boy card BP.
If anything, however, comparing the full 3* Jude deck to the 5* non-BD boy deck tells us that having the BD boy is even more important when your SP Predictor is low. The exact pattern is hard to sus out, perhaps I will try again during Jude's Promise event, or another blogger can take up the challenge. I am going to move on for now.
So far, I have concluded that 3* (and above) BD Boy > 5* non-BD Boys. But what about +99 4* non-BD Boys? My only +99 4* is my Jude card, and it's his BD right now, so I tested this in the guest slot.
BP: +99 4 * William- 2295, 4 * Jude- 800
As you can see, the 4* Jude gives more SP than +99 William. So, 4* BD boy > +99 4* non-BD boys. I couldn't test if 3* BD Boy is stronger than +99 4* non-BD Boy because I can't find any 3* Jude support (no big surprise there). If anyone wants to collaborate with me on this, let me know. Otherwise I can wait until Elbert's Soiree to use my Jude +99 4* to test as the non-BD Boy.
SP Predictor Increment Pattern
Love Point Predictors for Story Events and Intimacy Predictors for regular escorts seem to plateau/level off as you reach higher attire and card BP. I wanted to see if the SP Predictor behaves in a similar way. The following decks have similar Total Card BPs. But as established prior, the non BD boys cards give less SP than the BD boys.
The first deck with a +99 4* Jude and 3 non-BD Boys give an SP Predictor of 115. Adding 1 Jude 5* at BP of 1800 added 37 points in the SP predictor (second deck). Adding another Jude 5* at 1700 BP added only 17 points, and adding the last Jude 5* added only 6 points.
Conclusion: The higher your SP Predictor is, the less SP a stronger card can increase it by.
I then tested this out in the guest slot.
In my stronger deck of all Jude cards, changing the guest from +99 Halloween Will to +99 Jude added 9 points. In my weak deck of 680 BP, this change added 10 points. The difference is there but it is marginal.
Significance for Soiree Events
BD boys> non BD boys
Given that BD boys are much stronger than non BD boys, it makes sense to try putting as many BD boy cards in your deck as possible rather than using higher rarity non BD boy cards. For your guest cards, use the character filter to select the BD boy. For your own deck, here is a recommended process for putting together your strongest team for the Soiree Escort.
1) You can start with your strongest all BD boy deck with the highest BP, go into the Soiree Escort page and check the predictor.
2) Then, play around with your deck by swapping out your weakest BD boy card with your highest BP non BD boy card.
3) If your SP Predictor decreased, go back to your original deck. This should be your strongest deck.
4) If your SP predictor increased, keep testing by repeating step 2 with your new deck until your SP Predictor decreases. Once that happens, change back to your previous deck, which should be your strongest deck.
SP Predictor Plateaus as Your Team Gets Stronger
This means that once you have a solid deck, getting stronger cards mean less. It also means that, most likely, even if you have a full deck of +99 4*s, you will still have to spend diamonds/scones to +99 the Soiree Card.
Final Thoughts
I hope this breakdown blog elucidates the system a little for everyone. The screenshots of the decks can also be referenced to try to predict SPs. Good luck on the Soirees!
