Marble Hornets is a found footage style horror webseries on YouTube under the channel by the same name. Super creepy, absolutely amazing. It’s the only piece of horror media that has ever genuinely creeped me out. It’s a bit slow in the beginning but it picks up quick. I hope you like it!

I never thought, out of any of the panels, that this one would bring me dread. This one, which was so funny that we joked about it for months.

But then chapter 135 dropped, and Fami made her proposition to Asa about splitting Denji and Pochita so that Denji could live as a normal human.

We said she must be lying, because we know Denji will die without Pochita as his heart, and even if he were able to regenerate one in the split, he would still die from the genetic heart disease that killed his mother, that began in him shortly before he was first killed in chapter 1.

But then someone said: he could live if given someone else’s heart. A healthy, human heart. And I felt a chill, because there’s only one human heart among the part 2 characters. Only one human heart that could possibly grow to care about Denji enough that he may give his own life for Denji’s. And I said, no, no no please, no. Tell me I’m wrong.

And then they replied with this panel:

And suddenly this panel wasn’t funny anymore. For barely a millisecond, I almost laughed because, what a strange panel to bring up! But I noticed Denji’s hands immediately, and it hit me harder than any other panel of yoshida during this entire series.

This doesn’t feel like a stretch at all, which feels much worse.

And now I feel like it’s set in stone.

I really thought. For just a minute there, I really thought maybe Hirofumi would get to live a normal life like Denji. Maybe their happiness didn’t have to be brief. Maybe the kids might have made it this time.
