My oc whomst time regresses back into her childhoood and changes many things for the better, right?
Inspired by the otome isekai trope of, "orphan gets adopted by a noble family and yes they sure look like their adoptive parents don't they?" and like it turns out the noble family had a stolen/missing/dead child who would be jsut the mc's age and surely they're not the same person right like what are the chances? (she always is their real daughter)

WebcomicWeb
Hello! I know I usually just use this blog for bird pictures etc. but I'm scurrying around and messaging people about this website, so I figured I should make a pinned post so it's a bit less weird for them if they meander on over to my blog. I'm trying to get the word out about WebcomicWeb! It's a website I made where webcomic makers submit their comics through a google form. Users then use a button to preview and/or visit a random webcomic from the selection. There's filters for ratings and current running statuses. All sized archives and skill levels are welcome!! Completed, discontinued, hiatus, etc - please submit them! Someone out there will be so happy to read what you've put out into the world! I know first hand that getting the word out about independent webcomics is really difficult and, honestly, sometimes disheartening! I'd love to get this website up and really going for both makers and readers alike. I appreciate anyone spreading the word. Thank you! Here's another link! WebcomicWeb.com! also here's the webcomic I help write - https://kingsgatecomic.com/
Dreams gave me an oc situation: The classic "People get stuck in a VRMMORPG" and a main character that had DID, and the stresss of that situation sure did NOT help.
Fun situation of everyone worrying that "what if we die in game we die irl?!?!" because of media consumption where that is real. That did not happen, but Alabaster and Percy's mmemory gaps due to other alters fronting and just general dissassociation sure made people think "oh no dying in the game will make you lose memories!!!" (also not real)
after 4 years of drawing webcomics, this is my wisdom:
start now. now. now now now. or else you'll never draw this damn thing
it's fine if you don't have the entire story figured out yet, it'll happen naturally
draw what you want to draw!! webcomics often run for years, so you better work with something you like
don't overcomplicate things. a simple, efficient work flow is your top priority in order to stay consistent
bullshit some things. trace background refs. reuse poses. draw your character's face from different angles and just copy paste it in to save time. be smart about your work baby
take breaks if needed. webcomic burnout is real
sometimes, a panel or a page looks bad. shit happens. move on
lettering is actually really important and super hard to pull off
it's your comic. do what you want forever!!!
I'm begging you again to work smart, not hard. reuse backgrounds. use brush sets for webcomic artists. trace 3D objects. use 3D models to pose your characters
you may need hours or days to draw one panel, but people will look at it for 5-8 seconds. keep that in mind
a simple background is better than no background at all (avoiding the white void increases the quality of your work by a ton!)
sometimes the anatomy needs to be a little off to make an interesting shot/panel. that's fine, don't worry about it too much
at least 2000px canvas and 300 dpi for good quality results
it's okay to stop by the way. it's okay to move on from a project if you no longer find joy in it
Art I did out of love for a modded minecraft server that died </3
We had so many bases and I have more art plans, but I did these in january 2025 and uhm. Art hard.
Did You Know? you can read Gather Ye Power for free on webtoon for a fun and wonderous time full of POWERS and CUBE and LOBSTER and BEAUTIFUL BREATHTAKING LINEWORK
please. please
These too are transferable skills
We love a cute new oc for a minecraft skin.
Because SOMEHOW people need to be reminded of things from literally ten years ago:
"Free the nipple" never meant "free to not wear a bra" or "free to breastfeed." Those were adjacent conversations that of course "free the nipple" supporters would boost, but that was NEVER the core of free the nipple.
The core of free the nipple was always that the breasts of people perceived as women ("female-presenting nipples" to use some Tumblr speak) are in no way different than the breasts of people perceived as men. And that since the chests of people perceived as men are not sexualized and are allowed to be exposed, so too should the breasts of people perceived as women. If men can be topless, so can women. If it's inappropriate for women to show their chests, neither should men. It isn't sexual assault for a woman to walk around barechested, because it isn't sexual assault for a man to do so either, and breasts are NOT sexual organs.
Claiming breasts are inherently sexual organs is factually and morally wrong, it is sexist and controlling, it is a tool of oppression, and it defines normal body parts (and bodily functions) as sex which leads to inherent sexualization of people with those parts. It leads to 12 year olds with large breasts being accused of seducing 40 year old men or trying to distract and corrupt their classmates.
"Free the nipple" doesn't mean "free the nipple in a god-fearing way." It means FREE THE NIPPLE, full stop, end of sentence. It means to free the nipple of the faulty social constructs that cast it as a sexualized, malicious force of seduction instead of a normal body part that should be free of expectations of shame or "modesty."
Breasts and nipples aren't shameful, sexual, immoral, porn-adjacent, kinks, a distraction, or things to be feared. They are a part of your body just like your elbows and ankles, and being afraid of them, thinking they will corrupt some innocent person or that being exposed to them is trauma akin to sexual assault, is the entire fucking problem.
Free the nipple, not just for breastfeeding, not just from bras, but from the fucked up social constructs that cast them as malicious instead of innocent. Stop trying to sanitize "free the nipple" for puritanical, conservative audiences who already hate you and the rest of us. You aren't helping anyone.
Free the nipple means FREE THE NIPPLE.

20th CENTURY BOYS - Anime Tribute
As a huge fan of Naoki Urasawa's work, 20th Century Boys is my favorite manga and I wanted to do an animated tribute of it.
The music is also written and composed by Naoki Urasawa, it's the intro of the Kenji song named "Bob Lennon"
Huge thanks to my brother for helping me by animating 2 shots, they turned out to be my favorite shots in the video.
If you didn't knew about this manga yet, I hope this will make you want to read it!
Ordinarily I would not even approach the Big M/M Media Thing Of The Month Discourse with a ten-foot pole and would be content to watch from the sidelines and obviously I think people should read or watch whatever they want and have a great time but I saw this and I just think "I don't want to read or watch women suffer so we can try simply not watching women at all" is insane
For the record here’s the longer version of that interviewee’s contributions to the article:
This particular individual is indeed trying to avoid (perceived?) misogyny in media by just avoiding gyny in media.
sharing the reblog for the naysayer in the comments
she is literally telling other women- so it's not just a Personal Preference, which, again, do you -to avoid media about women
like I. yes sure the solution to misogyny is to center men in everything forever. right
(fuck OFF that would not be better for my "psyche and wellbeing")
Man. What kind of MLM is she reading that she can escape misogyny. Ones with 0 women in them???
Because like. I in my late teens stopped reading mlm romances type stories because it was fucking rare for the lady side characters to like. Not get just like the most Viscious treatment possible from the author. For being women. Especially if it was a woman interested in one of the main guys. Certain types of mlm romances (im looking at you japanese yaoi) are more prone to it than others but also like. If the genre you're reading has a tendency to treat it's female side characters badly (which, most ya fic does, which, most romances do), it won't matter if the two main characters are men, the side women will still be treated badly.
Probably because those authors had some internalised misogyny they needed to deal with.

Hello, aspec tumblr. Hello people who love to read. I’m here to dangle a shiny new fantasy novel before you. It has:
✅ narrator is probably demisexual, but hasn’t thought about it
✅ romance-repulsed aroallo deuteragonist
✅ a time mage who solves problems with knives
✅ an angel with suspiciously infernal abilities
✅ dragonfolk
✅ unintentional allegory for having grown up queer in a conservative household

Balances
When renegade Demonslayer Akieryon crashes to earth in front of a human, he doesn’t know what to expect. Getting taken home into the heart of not-a-sorcerer Tempest’s life only boggles his preconceptions more. For the first time in his long life, Akieryon has the freedom to do whatever he wants. He throws himself into political intrigue and petty concerns with equal abandon. Family is what you make of it, and Akieryon wants as much as he can get. He just won’t worry too much about that thing his new friend(?) Tempest obviously isn’t telling him.
Half cozy, half unhinged, and thoroughly queer, Balances is a story of coming home.

people talking about fantasy will be like "well a character in a fantasy setting wouldn't say something like they're panromantic genderqueer or whatever" and it's like sure, probably not, but the flip of that is that sometimes in a fantasy culture people are having gay sex all the time and just think it's normal, or like their problems with other people's sexuality or identity aren't what you'd expect them to be in the modern US of A, either
I think in a lot of fantasy settings it's fine to just have a trans character go "yeah, I'm a man, deal with it, Mom" or even to have someone use terms like "gay" and "queer" because these are older than you think
but maybe have some fun with it, too, because in a lot of ancient cultures being queer meant you were holy, actually, and maybe the real problem is that your gay ass doesn't WANT to dedicate his life to the priesthood even if there ARE cute queens at the temple
but also if you just want to be like "yeah being into the same sex is just normal and nobody bats an eye," like.
It's fantasy, that's fucking allowed
Sorry for bringing homestuck to your doorstep. But that first bit is homestuck troll romances. A fantasy culture that doesn't care about gay sex but does care if you're filling out your relationship quadrants and how.(including funny moments of how troll kids understand relationships and how the human kids understand them, clashing) Youtubers have explained this better than I can.
And also, if you have a fantasy setting and don't want to use modern term, (+/or you have a conlang), it's a perfect opportunity to world build terms that mean the same thing without being that same thing.
There's like, soooo many types of fantasy settings, and allowing for soo many ways to handle queerness. A coffeeshop romantasy character probably would say they're a panromantic genderqueer. A character in someones worldbuilting petproject could say the same concepts about themselves but using the made up terms the author came up with. Someone else's dnd campaign turned written book series, probably has a character written with the mindset of they're panromantic gender queer, but that's never stated aside from observable behaviour.
I love fantasy for that. I think it can also be so fun to explore queer concepts in a fantasy setting (do the different fantasy races handle them different? Do they influence each other?(hai lady dwarf from discworld)How does magic play into queerness? Is transition easy, is it difficult? Is there support for such things as polygamy in the legal system? For found family? Is there value placed on queerness? How would that be seen? Is queerness normalised? Is it exceptionalised? Is it villainised? And by who?)
