Balloon Kid

The amazement of this kid - being trusted to hold this cloud of 'floating colorful things' while the vendor unties the one he picked - compelled me to capture this moment.

I can imagine what the kid was thinking as he was holding a clump of yarns and later on holding only one.

AJ just started running February this year. He has joined five fun runs/marathons to date; Ayala Silver Run (10k), SM to SM (6k), SRP midnight marathon (21k), Cebu's first Color Run (10k), and the Kadaugan sa Mactan Sundown Beer Run (6k) which was held last Saturday April 26th. 

He broke his personal record on that day with 28 minutes and 53 seconds.

"I feel so happy and alive during the Sinulog dance parade. That even if it's to tiring dancing all day since seven in the morning, the crowd of the streets keeps me alive and it makes me want to dance even more. Offering a dance is an honor to our dear Sto. Niño. It's one of my best days of the history of my life."

This was taken before the Sinulog parade started. Normally, you'll see lots of people behind that rope. It's the job of the good officers from ROTC, and NSTP-CWTS to man the ropes to prevent the spectators from crossing the street.
