what is something you would like to improve on for 2026?
my resolutions are to:
Stop spending all my money as soon as I get it on stuff I do not need (this is a big one. I use retail therapy but it’s not good for me)
go on more walks (the problem is I go on a lot of walks but they all lead to the store because I have an issue)
actually finish more crafts/artworks
Try and actually do better in honors biology. (I do try but I could try harder. The thing is I just think the class is so boring and we get so much shoved onto us at once that my brain makes me think I just can’t do it and so I don’t do well because I’ve already decided that I am stupid and will fail anyways)
learn how to ask for help or ask for basic things I need ( most to my dad because I get so scared of talking to him to the point of using things like lotion (just the best example i could find) until the bottle is completely dry because I don’t want to have to ask for more. It’s a whole thing but the main gist of it is I am afraid of my dad for some reason)
actually be truthful with my therapists. Even though they are literally being payed to listen and help me I feel like I’m just being a burden to them and then I just pretend I’m fine and that there is nothing wrong and everything is perfect when in reality it’s really not,
all because I don’t want to seem like everything they have done to help me has been a waste. I don’t know why but I can talk to strangers on the internet better than I can open up to my parents and my therapists (I have two for some reason??))
A more balanced diet aka actually eating 3 meals a day and not a couple marshmallows and calling it dinner. (This is mostly at my dads house because they don’t usually make dinner and we just have to do whatever but we never have anything I actually like because I’m too afraid to ask for it so I usually eat like idk some dry cereal or something cos I’m lactose intolerant and they don’t buy almond milk. But yeah I just think I need to eat better in general and maybe learn to cook some yummy stuff)
Packing my lunch for school instead of always eating food there (the shit it expensive and dosent even taste that good. This also includes not buying things at the cafe and instead bringing snacks for when I feel like I’m about to pass out because that happens a lot for some reason
make a routine for studying and taking care of myself (I get very stuck when I need to switch from thing to thing so this will be good)
