Being a tattoo artist had never been Haruka’s dream. Not exactly.

Creating art had been his biggest passion—besides swimming—since he was three years old and his late grandmother gave him a box of coloured pencils for his birthday. It wasn’t until a couple years later that others started to notice and praise him for his abilities. But Haruka never cared about being talented. For him, drawing and painting was an escape, something to lose himself in, enabling him to translate his thoughts and feelings onto a canvas without needing any words. A feeling that was only beat by being in the water.
