“Calm down, I am fucking with you.” Mik slips away from his touch with a grin on his face, amused and riding that cocktail of a high he’s managed to accumulate over the last few minutes. Being touched doesn’t exactly bother him — he likes it, actually — but he’s definitely down with playing his own games tonight, and he hasn’t been letting any of the guys here keep their hands on him for long. That includes the ones he knows, or use to ‘hang out with’, or however Alex described it. “Could do one drink, I suppose, but I was having so much fun dancing.” His bottom lip juts out into an exaggerated pout, just as dramatic as ever, and certainly as easily friendly. He likes the attention, the way he can practically physically feel the once-over he gives him. He doesn’t stop to wonder what he’s thinking about, mostly because it doesn’t really matter. “Where have you been anyway? It has been…” He pauses, as if thinking for a moment, and shoves someone who bumps into him away before beginning to move from the crowd. “Well, I do not know, actually. A while, I am thinking.” 

“damn, you scared me, man.” he let out a breath with a laugh and pulled away from him. it wasn’t that it offended him to not be recognized, it was just bizarre. especially since they had been relatively close in the past and he looked forward to see him in the summer. alex was always a little bit flirty with him, holding his waist, his hands, being a bit too touchy. that was him in general with his guy friends even before he knew he was bi but the fact that remik was into guys too just made him feel more ‘safe’, per say, to do it. “you looked really cute while doing so too.” he smirked and pinched his side, not really knowing if they were in the terms for him to pinch his butt yet. “it’s never just one drink with me, you know that.” he rolled his eyes with a smile and grabbed his hand to drag him to the bar. “what do you mean? i’ve been here. well, i was back in canada for a while but then my parents just sent me here to study.” alex was loving his life by himself but sometimes he did miss his home. “yeah, yeah, it’s been a while.” he agreed. “you’ve...grown. i think you’ve aged well.”

if they were anywhere else, lynette would probably grimace at the touch of alex’s hand on her own. however, they aren’t anywhere else. they’re in public, at a restaurant as one of their planned dates for the week. so, she begrudgingly intertwines their fingers together. “i’d rather be his dead corpse than one of your playmates,” she answers flatly through a sickeningly fake smile at him. “besides, i already know someone is being a playboy bunny. i’m not going to be caught dead matching anyone else. not even as a dead corpse.”

there was something about the way he could control lynette that was very interesting to him. she was a very bold girl who could rule the world if she wanted to but now...well...she had to go along with what alex wanted and that gave him a new sort of rush. the boy couldn’t help but let out a chuckle at her snark. “well...it is halloween after all. wouldn’t be that weird if you went as a corpse.” he shrugged. “yeah, it’s a pretty common costume which is why mine works.” he winked. “imagine all of the chicks–...and dudes i guess? i can pick up by doing that. now i just have to think of something clever to say.”

“aw, babe. it’s our first halloween together. aren’t you excited?” he said, acting all loved up and reaching for her hand. “alright, i’ll do my pal hughey. this should be cool.” alex nodded. he was a huge fan of group costumes and now just needed to let other people know what he was gonna do to have more people to match with. “are you sure you don’t wanna be one of my playmates? you’d look pretty cute with bunny ears.”

“i actually don’t think that would be such a bad idea.” he started to consider it. maybe it would give them a good image to match. but on the other hand, he wanted to enjoy a bachelor halloween. “okay...wait for it.” he grinned and drummed on the table, “i was gonna go as the joker but then the hugh hefner thing happened and i kinda wanna go as him. i’m still between those two. what are you wearing?”

“of all the crazy shit i’ve done, moore, i have never done butt stuff,” she said, laughing at his comment. “so i guess ill just have to take your word for it” she winked, a soft smile gracing her face. “that’s fucking stupid,” she said bluntly. “i mean if my parents were to pull some shit like that i don’t know what i’d do,” she sighed. although she knew she would never have to deal with anything like that. “did you?” she said as she raised her eyebrow in curiosity. part of her wondered if that one hookup between the two would result in them actually have a real relationship one day and not just a facade, but she said nothing. “yeah she is,” josie said while looking back at the blonde girl. “you didn’t really have to talk me into it, all you had to do was ask and i would’ve been down,” she shrugged. “i mean i’mjosie olson, did you forget that?” she asked teasingly. 

“really?” he raised an eyebrow. he knew she hadn’t done butt stuff when they were together because he had insisted multiple times and she rejected him every one of them. “it’s not that bad. i mean it’s scary at first. i have to admit that i refused to do it for a long time...as in receive it, not give it...you catch my drift. anyway, it’s actually pretty fun and interesting. i recommend it.” he remembered the way he behaved with the first guys he hooked up with. he was completely in denial and only wanted to top until he met one guy who made him change his mind about it. in the end, it was part of learning to accept his sexuality. “i know, i know...” he sighed. it crossed his mind every single day but he knew he couldn’t let his parents down once again for the millionth time. this was like the thing that was supposed to repair his relationship with them. “sh!” he shushed her, lynette wasn’t a fan of him telling people about their little secret but he figured josie didn’t count. of course he was going to tell her. “maybe.” he smirked a little and placed his hands on her waist, “will you help me remember?” he asked leaning closer to her.

“me too,” she said as she took the bottle from alex and let the alcohol into her system. “everybody always has shit to say about it but at the end of the day, they’ree the ones with sticks up their asses — not us,” josie scoffed, as she dug her heel into the carpet. her habits were really no one’s concern. if she wanted to sleep around, get drunk every night, and do drugs those were her decisions were they not? “why her?” josie asked rather softly. she looked up to alex from where she was sitting and had a twisted expression on her face. for the life of her, she couldn’t figure out what his parents saw in lynette to make lynettehis wife. if josie was going to show him the ropes of this, she had to put on a show. she made sure to pull out all the stops. she wanted to make sure that alex was turned on even before she and the blonde sauntered back over. minutes later she walked back over to alex and held her phone up. “whenever we’re ready all we have to do is call,” she said, a smirk toying on her lips. 

“hey, it’s not that bad to have a stick up your ass.” a smirk appeared on his lips at the suggestion. alex wasn’t one to be shy about his sexual practices and josie was probably used to that even if he was still in the closet when they dated. “more like a cactus i’d say.” he offered instead. “i don’t know.” he shrugged, “her parents were kinda looking for the same thing and they’re friends with my parents. it seemed like a good idea to unite the family to seal a business deal or something like that. they don’t tell me much about their professional lives. at least not as much as i’d like to know.” alex was really into politics and law but he ended up getting into international relations as a major instead. he really wanted to become an ambassador. “at first i didn’t mind it because...i mean...look at her. and we actually had a bit of a thing which i’m not allowed to talk about but y’know...” he hooked his finger with a circle he created with his other hand to illustrate what he meant. alex watched in awe at how easy it came to josie, he was so ready to be with her again. “great.” he let out when she came back and rubbed his hands together. “she’s super hot. good job finding someone.” he congratulated. “how did i get you to agree with this again?”
