Alecto began to relax in her seat as she crossed her legs, lounging herself comfortably as she began to listen to Evan’s reply. “Sounds reasonable.” She replied with a small smirk, before rolling her eyes at his next reply. “Do your own work Rosier, I have better things to do than to have you beg me to do your work. Its rather demeaning for the likes of you, anyways.”

rod’s eyes lingered on alecto for a moment too long, his smirk only growing as he took a seat in the armchair opposite her. “you’re making a good case, carrow,” he mused, a half chuckle slipping past his lips. “how about some that aren’t on my face, hm? scratch marks on my back wouldn’t go amiss.”

As Alecto crossed her legs, she began to regard Rodolphus with slightly some regard. “A good case then?” She repeated, a coy smirk appearing upon her lips as she began to twist her fingers around her wand, letting it run between her fingers as she raised an eyebrow at his next comment. “I’m not sure that Belaltrix would be very impressed. And I’m sure you know that her wrath is, well almost as bad as mine.”

Aria looked up from her position of picking up her books that she had accidentally dropped on the floor, an her facial features arranged themselves into one of annoyance. “well, i’m sorry, i wasn’t trying to interrupt you on purpose, but maybe if you took time to realize what was happening instead of being so self absorbed, you’d be able to see that,”she snapped. 

Realising it was Aria, a small smirk began to appear upon Alecto’s features as she observed the fallen books all over the floor. “Perhaps if you weren’t so clumsy you wouldn’t have dropped all the books all over the floor. Or better, you wouldn’t have disturbed me from trying to finish something.” It was at this that she began to twist her wand between her fingers, implying that she would cast something unless Aria began to go away.

  “ Can’t a girl continue eating without you or another person interrupting her? Geez, eating is more important than your peace.” Marlene rolled her eyes as she took another chocolate frog from the package rather loudly.

At noticing it was Marlene, Alecto rolled her eyes as she sneered, “Mckinnon. Of course only that sort of noise would have come from a blood traitor such as you. Now run away and go off elsewhere unless you want a hex that will leave you as a fool in front of the rest of your precious lions.”

rod was nothing if not dramatic, so shattering a vase seemed like a perfectly acceptable way to gsin alecto’s attention. “you can,” he drawled, a lazy smirk finding its way to his lips. ”but at the risk of damaging my face and no one will thank you for that.”

Shattering a vase had disturbed Alecto’s attention from her business, and thus had easily irritated her. She had been ready to hex a younger year for causing such a disturbance, but it turned out it was Rodolphus. “Lestrange. Should have known it was you.” She began to drawl as she crossed her legs and began to face him. “Are you quite sure? I’m sure I could come up with some marks that would look rather pretty on your features.”

“I’m not sure you’d want to do that, Alecto.” Lucinda steadied herself, picking up the books she’d dropped. “Or do I need to get a point across? A temper like that must be bad for business.”

Raising an eyebrow at Lucinda, Alecto’s lips curled to a small smirk as she twisted her wand in her fingers. “Perhaps next time you shouldn’t be so clumsy and I wouldn’t need to forewarn you.”

“ clearly there is no need for any hostility, carrow—- my presence in itself is a delight. “ evan, unfazed, sat beside alecto with a dangerous confidence. “ besides, i’m here to see you. aren’t you moved? “

Raising an eyebrow at Evan, Alecto’s lips curled to a small smirk as she relaxed in her stance and began to lean against her seat as she realised who the intruder was. “Rosier. Truly what a delight.” She mused, as a small glint of amusement appeared in her eyes before she placed her wand down. “And what can I do for you?”

The last thing Narcissa wanted to attend was the the back to school celebration. She would rather spend her night curled up in one of the common rooms chairs reading. Still she slipped on her heels and put a smile on her face when she was near the Great Hall. “I can’t believe next year is going to be my last year here.” Hogwarts was Narcissa’s home and she loved it here. It was the one place where she could get away from her parents.

Alecto had dreaded attending this god-forsaken party as it would be filled with mudbloods and the latter, but fortunately there would be at least some vaguely tolerable people there. Turning her head to glance at Narcissa, a small smirk began to appear upon her lips as she nodded at her comment. “I know, I can’t believe I’ll be gone soon.” Truth be told, she would vaguely miss this place, although she wouldn’t miss most of its company.

Alecto began to raise an eyebrow at Spencer’s comment as she asked, “And pray do tell why?”

Raising an eyebrow at Amelia, Alecto replied caustically, “Didn’t you know little puff that the snakes don’t play along nicely with the badgers?”

It was true, Alecto had begun to enjoy her peace and quiet before being disturbed by Amelia. Raising an eyebrow at the Hufflepuff, she began to respond, “I have better things to do than to be associated with the likes of you.”

As Alecto began to settle down in her space of peace and quiet, she was suddenly interrupted by a collision of sound. Whipping her head around, Alecto’s fingers grasped her wand as she asked, “Can’t a girl have some peace and quiet? Or do I need to hex you to get that point across?”

Raising an eyebrow at the younger Malfoy, Alecto smirked lightly as she replied, “And why exactly are you interacting with such a creature? Surely you have better things to do.”

instead of joining the others in the great hall, evan got a drink in hand and sneaked his way out in the middle of a hobgoblins performance. he decided to spend most of his night in a nearby deserted classroom and at least enjoy some solace to himself.

however, his reverie was shortlived when the door creaked open as his eyes scanned the intruder. “ what brings you here? just fuck off. “

Raising an eyebrow at Evan who seemed to be in a rather not good mood, Alecto’s lips curled to a small smirk as she replied, “Now, now Evan that’s no kind way to greet such a dear friend, is it?”
