I think the way tadc fandom reacts to Jax and Gooseworx realting to her the most proves how people still see Queer people as perfect little beans and as soon a queer person gets exposed for doing something wrong at some point in their lives people immediately start denying they can be queer because obviously a queer person would never do anything wrong.
At this point Starstruck (ryland grace/tom ryder) isnt at all a crackship to me.

As they grew older, they'd find they knew very little of their once beloved brother at all.
Their surnames will change, they'll find new families who sever the ties to the disgraced Gentry boy, and as adults they won’t even be able to recall his name. The name that had once been synonymous with love.
Despite their separation, the boys would always describe themselves as a twin, as a brother still.
But for Court? There is no word for someone who simply used to be one.
Ever since he received that visit in prison, Courtland Gentry had been destined to disappear.
When Ryland Grace (née. Ryland Gentry) is sent aboard the Hail Mary, his brother, despite the distance and their dwindling closeness will board a plane to go personally raise hell at the office of Eva Stratt. He will scream and fight for the life of his brother.
At his funeral, beside a plaque hailing him a hero, Colt will recall the brother who he adored so deeply, he will speak fondly, and talk for hours with anyone who will listen.
When Sierra Six (née [REDACTED]) dies, there is no fanfare. There is no obituary or publication of his death, no statues and no people to speak at his funeral. They do not even afford him a headstone. He is quietly buried, in a plot that is quickly lost to time, left to rot away in the same way that he had lived, forgotten and alone.
As his body is prepared for cremation, they will feel along the scars dug harsh into his skin, marked and burnt, they will decide that they prove nothing more than the terror he became. They will remark on his wounds as if they were deserved, karma for the sins he had committed, the lives he had taken. They will not care to consider a fact that Courtland had always held close, that he had been a brother first, before everything else. As he is sent into the fire, his bones turn to ash before anyone finds out that his first scar had been born from protection.
And so they do not scatter him lovingly, he is dumped into the night sky to disappear with the wind. The world keeps spinning, unaware and uncaring. There is no one to say a final word, whisper a soft farewell as he fades into nothing.
Colt will feel an ache in his chest that he will he attribute to an ancient injury.
On Erid, Rocky will note the way Ryland falters just for a moment, and they will both place it down to the drag of gravity taking its toll on his bones.
Neither will see the solitary report of their brother's death, as it too will burn with him.
When they clean out his safe houses, they will find piles of scientific papers, all credited to a Ryland Grace, beside mounds of printed out screenshots of action sequences in films, zoomed in to the blur of stunt man Colt Seavers’ face.
“He’d gone crazy.” Someone will mutter- and just like the reports, they too will burn.

anyways. jax and gangle's relationship is such a palpably clear example of abuse and im fascinated on how little that is touched on by the audience. the way jax despises gangle and her presentation. the way gangle gets to jax in a way that threatens her so badly. the way jax felt so targeted after his discussion with ribbit that he likely feels anyone could be looking at him and connecting dots he doesnt want connected at any moment. gangle being the most vulnerable woman in the circus at the time that jax can let his pent up frustration and internalized misogyny onto. the way jax named her. the way gangle cant get herself to cry when he abstracts. the heartbreak of seeing someone destroy themself so much that you can SEE the ripple effects. he self destructs so badly that the shrapnel from the blast just tears into gangle one million times over. the way that Jax denying her own truth led to her attacking what she saw of herself in others.
