To all the non destiel shippers: how do you explain Casâs face?
Lyrics:
We make up Team Free Will Thatâs why weâll save the day And if we fuck it up Weâll fix it right away Thatâs why the monsters of this world Look out for: Bobby, Castiel, And Dean, And Sammy!
| Actual lines from Supernatural.
The moment where Castiel heals Charlie is really important to me, in terms of the two characters connecting?
Because itâs partly played for humour with the awkward pausing & the minor ailment & the âdid we just become best friendsââŠ
But on a deeper level, this is Charlie, who has read all of the books & seen all of Castiel that is in them, and everything she has been told about him, the bad & the good, & to a certain degree she has that understanding of him, of the way he wants to make things better, the way he strives to fix. Sheâs read whatever version of âThe Man Who Would Be Kingâ exists in that universe, she would know what Castiel has been through better than even Dean or Sam.
So she asks Castiel if he can cured Dean, now that his Grace is returned, and when Castiel says ânoâ, she gets how that must weigh on him, how much Dean means to him & how much he clings to being an angel because of what he can do.
Charlie Bradbury is standing there with a bullet wound sewn shut with dental floss. But she doesnât want to ask him too much, because she knows how many people have only wanted things out of him, have used him as a tool. At the same time, she wants to give him something he can fix, something that he can heal, so he doesnât feel quite so at a loss.
So she does, and Castiel is grateful for it, for this funny little woman who was so happy to see him, for no reason other than for himself, this woman who is family to the people who are family to him, and so he heals her as much as he can, and tells her how she can avoid harm in the futureâŠ
And itâs just such a simple little moment but it is so beautiful.
I - I got it. I do.
Endless argument
Some Things Never Change
Sam Winchester Season 1: I'm not gonna let you die. Period.
Sam Winchester Season 2: I donât care what it takes, Iâm gonna get you out of this. I guess I gotta save your ass for a change.
Sam Winchester Season 3: We're gonna get this done. I don't care what it takes, Dean. You're not gonna go to hell. I'm not gonna let you.
Sam Winchester Season 5: We'll stop this Dean. We'll find a way. You and me. We'll find it.
Sam Winchester Season 8: I see light at the end of this tunnel. And I'm sorry you don't -- I am. But it's there. And if you come with me, I can take you to it.
Same Winchester Season 10: I don't believe this mark is a terminal diagnosis. We will find away. Believe in that.
You know I just realized
That hearing that Cas will be in an episode of Supernatural is like when a girl finds out a dress has pockets. "Supernatural is on." "Nice." "Cas is in this episode." "FUCK ME SIX WAYS FROM SUNDAY CAS IS IN THIS EPISODE??"
Like youâre excited for it but then it just gets even better.Â
I think the reason Crowley refuses to kill the Winchesters is because he imprinted on Sam from the blood transfusion.
Lol more like he know they'll somehow come back and he does not want to get on their bad side xD
âI want to experience things differently or for the first time.â
âI want these experiences to involve people I already know and love.â
âI want a relationship that is deep, meaningful and long-term; the opposite of the one I just made up.â
âNo, I donât know a single woman right now who I have a history with or have shown any interest in ever.âÂ
âThe people I love who are still alive are really only my brother and my best friend.â
âBut I want to experience a long-term, deep, romantic relationship with someone I already know.â
-Dean being hella gay for Cas
SPN 10x16
- Dean wants to live - Dean wants to live for HIMSELF - Dean wants to experience feelings and people differently - Dean realizing there is more in the world for him other than suffering - Deanâs feelings - Dean discussing his feelings - Dean breaking millions of hearts - me aggressively crying in the corner
letâs be positive; a look at 10x16
And itâs that time again! Letâs take a look at this weekâs episode, Paint it Black written by Brad Buckner and Eugenie Ross-Lemming.Â
Okay, I know that the Buckner-Lemming duo usually get a lot of crap from the fandom for their episodes [and sometimes I agree that it is deserved], but tonightâs episode was not one that disappointed. From the get-go, weâve got an interesting problem. People who go to confessional end up dead afterwards, and thatâs enough to raise the eyebrows of the Winchesters. I liked that Dean was the one who was so adamant that there was a case, and that he was correct in the end.Â
Additionally, I thought the whole plot was very interesting. A vengeful spirit from the 1500s who lived on through a painting? Pretty cool. I thought she was a very interesting character, and I liked the flashbacks we got to her with the painter who âbetrayedâ her (if you can call it that; Iâm not sure I would call it betrayal, but thatâs what the spirit thought it was). The way she went was great too, and I loved that Sam didnât burn the journal like Dean told him to.Â
However, Deanâs confessional was the highlight of this episode for me. Have we ever gotten such an honest portrait from Dean about what he wants? Not in a long time. Finally, Dean is admitting that he doesnât want to die in battle; heâs ready to find a person to settle down with, is looking for that âapple pie lifeâ he tried to get with Lisa. Essentially, this is Dean pushing past all the bravado he puts on and admitting that he desperately wants a connection that lasts longer than a one night stand, and I found that beautiful and heartbreaking. Beautiful because I feel like this is the first time that Dean is truly allowing himself to admit that he wants things that the hunter life canât give him, and heartbreaking because he doesnât believe that he will ever get it. Way to bring on the feels, Supernatural. Â
But of course we cannot leave out the confrontation between Rowena and the leader of the Grand Coven! Finally a little bit of the mystery comes out. Rowena now has a purpose; she is looking to regain her power in the Coven and now knows the Winchesters have everything she needs in the bunker. I feel like even though there isnât a âbig badâ this season, she could come back into play in season eleven.Â
Now, on to next week! The promo looks promising with the return of Bobby, Metatron, andâŠCAS. The fight between Dean and Rowena looks epic, and did anyone else see Deanâs eyes flash back? Could our demon!Dean be making a reappearance? We can only wait and see.Â
I hope you enjoyed the episode, and remember to be positive if you can!
