I present to you INABADMOON aka Ryan, Abi and Emma's band AU for which I have so so many headcanons
The band name is a pun on in a bad mood with moon, bc you know, The Quarry... you get it... The logo is a moon crescent with a lil goblin werewolf face on it, just because I needed nods to the og material to scratch my brain right.
They all go by stage names and personas based off of negative emotions, which I'll list and detail one by one, starting by our band leader;
Emma aka LOATHING: she's colour coded in green. Her stage persona is basically her usual, dramatic, sassy, confident self but very exacerbated. She's openly out as a lesbian and a lot of their songs revolve around sexuality and liking women. She's the lead singer and sometimes plays the keyboard a bit
Abi aka FURY: she's colour coded in red. Her stage persona is a little angry goblin and very loud. Since she puts it on for interviews, fan meetings and concerts, people who actually get to meet her outside of the band are always a little shocked that she's actually super gentle and shy. She mains the drums like no one else can and gives back-up vocals.
Ryan aka DESPAIR: He's colour coded in blue. His stage persona is a huge moody diva. (So like him but more extra 💫) His blue tinted glasses are teardrop shape to play into his name. He's our fave guitarist and gives back-up vocals.
(Later on) Dylan aka JITTERS: He's colour coded in purple. His stage persona is very jittery and anxious and barely stays in one spot, he also plays around with humour to make up for the anxiety. He was initially the band's number one stan, following them around and even getting employed to sell merch on their tour. He ended up getting to join after a weird encounter with the band in which he got to show them his skill. Our lovely bass player.
Max: head publicist and tour manager, Max is more of an intermediate between the band actual manager and the band. He's easy going and fun and with little persuasion was the one who gave Dylan the job on tour.
Laura: actual manager of the band. Being more headstrong than her boyfriend and way more organised, she actually handles most of everything in the background. Tends to be a bit dubious at weird offers and is just a very caring friend.
Jacob: head of the roadies, he handles the instruments very carefully, guiding his skilled team. He tried hitting on Emma before realising she was very much a lesbian. A little bit later on, Nick joins his team and they end up being very close... (gay shit ensues)
Nick: Huuuge FURY fan he's got the main fan account for her and used to have a blog. Got to meet her (under her persona) several times before he actually joined in as a roadie on their tour. Once he finally met Abi and not FURY he was a bit surprised but then they ended up becoming best friends.
Blygbank are very much in love with each other but oblivious to the other's feelings, except they are obvious to everyone else and the Internet has taken to shipping their personas together. Abi solely watches Emma during sets and Emma catches glimpse of Abi after the sets. One thing Emma loves is how Abi juts dunks a bottle of water on herself after concerts and then towels herself up, it's like Emma’s absolute favourite thing.
Radioheads start out as "enemies" to lovers (one sided). Dylan is completely in love from the start let's be clear on that, Ryan is the one with an issue at first, he just thinks Dylan is annoying, lazy and mostly lucky, but after a bit and actually getting to know each other Ryan falls in love as well.
Very established Laura and Max, they're basically as good as married.
Jacob and Nick have a bromance but take out the B.
One last thing in my head they sound kinda like The Regrettes, hence the song lyrics in the background of the art.
