The notes are broken. This is what tumblr is all about apparently.
THE NOTES ARE BROKEN! This has been reblogged so many times, Tumblr just shrugged and said “infinity”

Absolutely batshit dream last night but also I think i should be hired to write the next RDJ/Jude Law Holmes movie.
Holmes and Watson aren’t retired, exactly, but this is a few years after A Game of Shadows, and they’re both professors at the same university teaching in their respective fields. until someone masquerading as a werewolf begins killing students. Holmes and Watson are pulled back in and begin to investigate the murders. As the story goes on, the killer begins to frame Holmes for these murderers, very successfully. The climax happens when Holmes gets captured after seemingly murdering another professor, and confesses to the murders. Homes encourages Watson to move on, to go back to the university. Watson tears up and demands they let Holmes go even as they haul him off.
Of course, Holmes escapes from custody and it fades to black as we’re left wondering what the truth is.
It flashes forward maybe 10 years into the future. Homes is presumed dead as his escape involved freezing temps an and treacherous waters. Watson is teaching at the university. He seems to have come to terms with Holmes being the murderer, but he gets agitated and annoyed whenever someone asks him about it. He’s sitting with a woman in the library, one who was at the university in the first half of the story, The police come in and arrest her, saying they had discovered evidence that she was the true murderer all those years ago. She’d been having an affair with the professor that was killed - and the professor had been sleeping with the students that were killed. The first murders happened out of jealousy, then she killed bee lover out of desperation and a need to frame Holmes to get him out of the picture.
Holmes is still presumed dead, but his name is cleared. Watson thanks the sargent or whoever then goes out on the balcony. We only see him through the window but he appears to be crying. A janitor who had been tidying the room goes over to where Watson had been sitting and looks through the journal he’d been writing in. It is pages and pages of collage and writing dedicated to Holmes. Drawings of Holmes, articles, description of his looks and mannerisms and idiosyncrasies, as well as seemingly unrelated articles with notes scribbled in the margins. Watson never believed in his guilt, nor is death, and was trying to both remember him and find him, for the past ten years. The camera pans up and we see for the first time that the janitor is none other than Sherlock Holmes, who is, of course, alive. He grabs the journal and follows Watson to the balcony.
Before Holmes can reveal himself, Watson asks, “Did you see the final page?”
Holmes is taken aback (even now, Watson can take him by surprise). “I beg your pardon?”
“The final page.”
Holmes turns to the final page It’s a sketch of Holmes in his disguise, lovingly rendered. At the bottom of the page, it says, “Come home.”
