So this year has seen quite a few firsts for me. I'm enjoying the new studio, & the new experience of working on not only a pc game, but a 1st person experience, as well as an MMO. Too add to that, I've now started to get into some view model action, which again....is a first for me. The fact I've been in the industry for 10 years & am still finding new & exciting areas to work in is one of the reasons I love my job :) First view model anim - wood hammer

New beginnings

First off, apologies for the lack of updates. The last few months have seen me travelling up & down the country (& almost out of it too) job hunting. I'm very happy to announce I accepted an offer from Facepunch studios & started at the studio in December. Everyone has been very kind to me & the studio has a great relaxed atmosphere. Within a week of starting at FP the steam survival game 'RUST' was released on early access & has topped the charts, it's insane the numbers that are playing it at the moment (over 600k). It's great for the studio & everyone involved, so it feels like an exciting time to make an entrance at the studio. I'm eager to be making exciting moving things here, as soon as I can share anything I will :)

End of an Era

It was a sad day last Thursday. Unfortunately on 12th September, Blitz Games Studios went into liquidation. I am now (for the first time in ten years) back on the market & looking for a new challenge. I'd like to thank everyone I worked with at Blitz for making it such a great studio to work for, & wish everyone all the best for the future.
