“You wake up too early for everybody, Ryou.” She walked inside the train and understood why Ryou took the train that early in the morning. “Is it always this... cramped at this time?” Alice unconsciously grabbed Ryou’s kimono sleeve so they couldn’t get separated with that many people.

“Miss…” Ryou said quietly, peaking over at Alice from the doorway. “There’s a festival taking place in the park tonight. Do you want to go?” Even if he didn’t ask, he was sure Alice would drag him anyway. But he knew how she was, and asking made everything less of a hassle, and meant she couldn’t be angry with him later for not asking her in the first place.

“Such a gentleman, Ryou-kun.” She smiled pleased, walking towards him to grab his hand. “Let’s go then!”

Ryou let himself be dragged by Alice towards the nearest train station. As he expected, it was crowded with others going to the same place. “Don’t get distracted, Miss.” Being tall had it’s benefits for sure, in this situation.

If she felt uncomfortable with that many people, she didn’t show it. “Well, Ryou, is not that easy to access this train system.” She was looking the machines and how people passed the barrier, trying to distract herself and understand how they did it. “Have you used the train before?”

“Yep.” Ryou nodded, suddenly grabbing onto her hand to put a metro card in it. “Use this to go through.” If she wants the commoner experience, she will get it.

“Ohhhhh.” Alice looked the card on her hand and like the other people did, she go through the doors. “Ryou-kun, I did it!” She said happily as she was waiting for him there. And after he entered too, she walked to the platform even when she didn’t know which one was the right one.

“You did.” Ryou met her on the other side, then motioned her in the right direction. “The train is approaching.” It was definitely a good thing she was getting this experience now. He didn’t mind it; she had to learn sometime. “Let’s hurry on. We’ll be there soon.”

“When did you use the train?” She looked around like she wasn’t wrong before walking in the direction Ryou was going. “I thought you used the cars everytime you went out.” The train arrived and the doors opened, being almost dragged inside by the people.

She was taking her clothes off, looking at Ryou’s choice with an excited smile. “I like that one!” Alice was sure Ryou would look intimidating with those types of colours, so he would be a good company to keep everybody away.

Alice was trying to put on the kimono then, holding the obi on her hands. “Help me with this, Ryou-kun.”

Ryou was glad to hear Alice approved of what he picked out. He laid it out on the bed before walking over to her.

“Of course,” he said, helping her with getting the kimono on just right, the obi looking nice on her. Then he goes over to get changed and out on his own kimono.

Alice was looking herself into the mirror with a smile on his lips. She picked up a flower hair pin and, because her hair was short, she was wearing it on the side, holding some strands.

“How do I look?” She was facing Ryou now, ignoring the fact he was changing clothes there too.

Alice was lying on his bed with her diary opened there, writing about the things she did today and how ready she was for that festival, but if Ryou-kun didn’t show in some minutes she… “A festival? Mh…” She played with her pencil and then got up, walking towards Ryou. “Sounds good, lets go, Ryou-kun.” She said with a smile, passing him and walking to the door. “Did you say anything to the driver?”

“Ah… Not yet.” Ryou sighed, walking to the closet. “Want to go wearing kimonos?”

“Don’t call him, we are going in the common way.” Alice was already excited about this. “Yes! You need to wear one to, Ryou-kun!”

“Okay…” The common way. That always made things, uh, interesting. “Should I call a cab then, instead?”

“No, we are going by train!” She was smiling, looking for a kimono to wear.
