I’ll defend Dawn Summers forever like what do you mean she’s one of the most hated fictional characters of all time? For what? Being a teenage girl? Oh yeah, probably.

They are asking (respectfully) to see your coin collection (no intentions of taking to add to their horde)
tom nook is NOT a landlord!!! he is a construction worker! he SELLS you a WHOLE HOUSE! He is not CHARGING YOU however many bells a month to live there! You PURCHASE a HOME that he BUILDS FOR YOU and then you PAY HIM FOR HIS SERVICE. He charges no interest he sets no time limit it is a relationship built on trust. the only penalty you get for not paying off your home is that he won't build more home until you pay him for the first one. A guy that builds you a house wherever you want him to and then charges you for the cost of construction is not a landlord you own the fucking home
He is, however, in the mafia

Iron Lung (2026)
#no joke simon navigating the caves blind is one of my favorite scenes in any movie ever#the audience gets to figure things out along with him; instead of being told how it works you're shown these little details#like how he taps the controller to estimate distance and the proximity light goes off in the background right on cue#because he's right! he figured it out!#and so did you!#iron lung#still so weird that people called this slow and boring it was genuinely one of the most engaging parts of the movie#my brain was going brrrr it was great (via @vrabia)
What have you become? I am what you made me.
BUFFY THE VAMPIRE SLAYER | 6.05
I want Buffy's abusive behaviours in S6 to be acknowledged and discussed not because I want to compare which is more toxic and fucked up; Spike or Buffy. No, no, never interested in that.
I want it to be acknowledged because Buffy, the hero, having and enacting her ugliness and badness and hurt are so important to me. The symbol of good and the epitome of a good person being imperfect and so human make me feel seen and that's so important to me.
Let women struggle. Let women fuck up. Let women make the wrong decisions and CONTINUE making the wrong decisions. Let women fail. Let women have darkness. It's both disingenuous and antifeminist to position Buffy as Spike's victim because to do so, you must actively rob her of her agency. You also must blatantly ignore the fact that through the parts of their relationship that viewers saw, Buffy was nearly always the pursuer and aggressor. Not always, but NEARLY always.
Buffy making the wrong decision over and over again is what makes her revelation that she wants to live so powerful. If Buffy, someone whose moral compass almost always points due north, can struggle and tumble and fail and be dark, then it's easier to forgive ourselves when we do the same.
Btvs galore ✨
(so relieved that after two years of no art I am able to still draw, thanks to my muses I had the right motivation to try (started a btvs rewatch and it just got to me). Like imagine my anxiety when I sat in front of my pc and tablet after so long)
