idk if you’d feel more comforted by the maths behind it or the reason, I’ll give both

Reason: it’s an automatic thing, YouTube changed sub counters to only show the nearest thousand or ten thousand (depending on the channels size), which is why it appears Phil loses 10k in one day when it really is over a month long process. inactive accounts and bots are being cleared every day, which drops the sub count. It’s not a bad thing, It will just give a more realistic sub count

Maths: he’s still on 4.08M so even if he loses 10K every 30 days and never makes a new sub again, it’ll take 12240 days to drop to 0... so 33 years and 6 months
