So since visiting a museum the other week, I've doodling 'Ritual Objects' in odd moments. Bit worried that I may be a H. P. Lovecraft protagonist.

Apps for bears is the next big thing, I reckon.
Ugh, watercolours, why you got to be such a pain to work with?
Another bird for the totally not made up #DrawACleverBirdDay. Crow’s are my favourite - we see loads of them at the local woods, and they’re always so curious and funny.
Not sure why, but I’ve seen to have declared today ‘draw-a-clever-bird-day’. Here is a magpie. I like magpies; like crows they often beg for food when I’m walking the dog, but they’re much braver than the crows.
Attempting to kick-start my Christmas spirit by drawing a clever robin. It’s sort of working.
Another watercolour attempt. I think I’m getting better, but still haven’t got the fluidity that I want.
(It’s based on a photo I took last year at Charlecote Park. It was a foggy autumn morning, and as we looked across the river, the deer picked their way out of the mist, delicate and ghost-like.)
I painted a barn owl. It’s ... okay, I suppose, but I was trying to go for something looser. But I don’t really do loose. I’m the chap that looks at C3P0 and thinks ‘I really admire his freewheeling devil-may-care attitude!’
Ah well, it’s all practice, isn’t it?
Dorky goldfish.
Getting the hang of these watercolour markers - some bits are somewhat shonky, but I’m getting better.
Playing around with some new watercolour markers
Gamedev side project - fairly happy about how it’s looking so far.
A quick Doctor Lazarus doodle in honour of Alan Rickman
Did some pebble paintings while on my hols. This is the one with which I’m happiest.
You may not know this, but the only correct way to test new art supplies is to do Studio Ghibli fan art.
Haven’t done much art recently - busy with other things - but here are some totemic doodles.
Jobsworth mouse.
