I MAY have talked about this before........ But I don't remember 😊 I've been getting back into Apex Legends lately, my skills fluctuate just as much as I remember 😊 But I DO like interpersonal relationships between the legends :3 Which brings me to my favorite relationship in Apex Legends ✨Fusehound✨
Let me PREFACE THIS! BY SAYING! It's fine to have an opinion 😒 BUT I really don't know what there is to dislike, let alone hate, about Fusehound .-. Lobavalk I understand why people disliked, they set up Lobalore for so many seasons only for Valk to swoop in and immediately sweep Loba off her feet, I get that. Lobalores, you're getting fed now though so that's good ☺️
Anyway, the same CAN'T be said... For Fusehound .-. From Fuse's introduction, Fuse and BH have had a storyline going ._. Fuse was interested in BH from the jump, BH was dismissive of him. But, over the course of the seasons, BH starts to let down their walls around Fuse, and then their connection deepens until the cinematic where they confess their feelings and kiss for the first time. I'm sure there's a compilation of their whole story on youtube you can watch .-. AND NOW THEY'RE LITERALLY ENGAGED! Fuse went to BH's home planet to learn about their traditions in asking for someone's hand in marriage and DID it because he knows how much Talos means to BH and he loves Bloodhound so much! It's SO cute and SO sweet ._. It's truly the PUREST form of Fell First/Fell Harder .-. Because BH is just as down bad for Fuse and Fuse is for them 😊 They got JEALOUS when Maggie was introduced because they were worried that they wouldn't be Fuse's Best Friend anymore 😊 And that was before they started dating 😊
... Okay there IS one obvious reason that people could dislike it...... It's a queer ship in a shooter game. And Shooter Games are for The Boys 😊 But like Apex Legends has... MULTIPLE Queer Characters, I think like half the cast is outwardly, openly queer 😊
Couldn't Help It | Fuse x Bloodhound | Yantober Day 19
Characters: Bloodhound. Fuse/Walter Fitzroy. Loba, Mirage/Elliott Witt, Rampart/Ramya Parekh, and Ash make a small appearance.
Summary: Sometimes, Fuse couldn't help but feel jealousy whenever his Houndy was in another team. He'd watch from the jump ship, seeing them talk with others that wasn't him. Of course, Bloodhound could do anything they want! There was no way he'd ever stop them. But, the pounding jealousy in his heart was something he couldn't deny...

Sometimes, Fuse couldn't help but feel jealousy whenever his Houndy was in another team. He'd watch from the jump ship, seeing them talk with others that wasn't him. Of course, Bloodhound could do anything they want! There was no way he'd ever stop them. But, the pounding jealousy in his heart was something he couldn't deny. Currently, Bloodhound was in a team with Loba and Ash. Loba and Bloodhound had a friendship that Fuse was more than aware of. While it was nothing in hindsight, his heart couldn't take the sight of it.
"Hell yeah!" Fuse replied, hyping himself up as his gaze pulled away from his lover. "How 'bout you?"
Rampart laughed, shrugging on Sheila to her back. "Yeah mates! All ready to go!"
And off they went.
Final ring. Of course, Bloodhound's team was among the three teams left alive. It was obvious, Bloodhound's incredible tracking kept them far from any aggressive fights but right into those they can pick out, It was no surprise to Fuse that they'd get this far. If anything, he'd be proud had it not been for Loba's tendency to stick around them.
It was obvious from his grimace, enough so that Mirage forcefully jabbed him to get his attention. "Hey man, I know you and—uh, Bloodhound—Have something going, but can you keep your head in the game?" he laughed nervously, eyeing the fight going on in front of them. "I'd like to win, y'know?"
Fuse forced a laugh through his throat, adjusting his mechanical arm. "Yeah, right mate. Sorry 'bout that." He peeked from behind the building, raising his arm up before launching an arc star directly underneath the team fighting.
That explosive boom was enough to have Bloodhound's team start pushing. The third team were clearly weak and had no space to flee. Their team had to capitalize on this too. They rushed in, guns blazing as stray bullets shot all over the place.
Amidst the fire, Fuse spotted Loba down on the ground, her shield deployed to keep her safe from these strays. Something overcame his mind as he rushed over and extended a hand out to Loba.
"Haha, why thank you, beautiful—" she said, taking his hand.
"Awh, don't thank me yet."
Immediately, Fuse bashed his head against hers, light blood splatters across his face as she dropped to the ground. He grinned, feeling a little bloodthirsty from that kill. Only to immediately feel a barrage of bullets down his back. He forcefully spun around, equipping his volt SMG to gun down the person in return.
However, he sustained too much damage first and was downed. Just when all hope seemed lost, Rampart came blaring though with Sheila, that typical laughter echoing the vast valley. Mirage slid over, his hand reaching for Fuse's as his cloak was deployed over them both.
"Love you man but you gotta stop trying to finish them here!" he attempted to joke, his voice overshadowed by the rain of bullets.
"Heh, sorry," replied Fuse. But, by his tone and cheeky grin, he really wasn't sorry.
With their team coming in second, they briefly celebrated before Fuse bee lined over to his Houndy. Bloodhound was sat on the bench, clearly exhausted from the long match. When his shadow lingered over him, a muffled laugh escaped their lips.
"Don't think I didn't notice you in battle, Walter."
Hearing their voice speak his name sent shivers down his spine. Even when caught, he brought out his biggest, toothiest grin, and enveloped them in a hug. "Oh, Houndy! Couldn't help myself mate. You're a mighty fine sight on the battlefield!"
Bloodhound rolled their eyes, carefully leading him to solitude. Carefully, the removed their mask, breathing lightly staggered as their hand traveled up his face. "You are but a fool, mitt love."
Fuse laughed, feeling his gloved hand wipe away the light blood that splattered all over his face. "I'm your fool."
"I know."
He leaned in first, lips gently against their scarred lips. Even then, they felt unbelievably warm, a warmth Fuse never imagined feeling so late into his life. God, he loved this bugger. He'd kill for them all over again. Though, he ought to apologize to Loba for that nasty bruise on her head.
