This year, Manchester School of Art have titled their degree show You Made It. With branding designed by alumni design duo DR.ME, the title acts as both congratulatory for the students and excellent signposting for prospective visitors; in bright fluorescent yellow and red, it is pretty hard to miss.
This year, Salford University presents its degree show in the impressive New Adelphi Building, showcasing not only the work of the graduating class, who have spent their first and final year in the building, but also their new facilities. Across two floors of the mint fresh building, visitors can explore an impressive array of work from the School of Arts and Media.

The term “meta-art” is an analogue to meta-mathematics. Meta-art is a set of every and all known and possible sentences about art. For the purposes of this article, any concrete set of connected sentences about art is considered a theory.

Manchester School of Art Degree Show 2016
I was asked to review the Manchester School of Art degree show for The Skinny "Rebecca Halliwell-Sutton’s evocative sculptural work uses theories of the abject and the female body to present a subtle narrative about sexuality and fertility. Hanging from the ceiling is a large piece of silk printed with swashes of reds, pinks and purples, which, when placed alongside the other sculptural forms, is suggestive of female menstruation. "The sensuality of the material presents a contrast to the bodily function it is representative of. FutureEverything 2016 review
I went along to FutureEverything this year to cover it for The Skinny.
