I’ve been really feeling myself lately. Only 6 week post C-section after having my second baby! I may have a new mom bod, but I’m kinda loving it!

Man I’m really feeling myself! In two days I’ll be 6 weeks postpartum and post c-section! I’ve only lost 30 pounds but I’m feeling pretty decent about how I look!

Me realizing that Ryan is going back to the office in a week and I’ll have two care for a newborn and toddler all by myself without any help! How do I walk the dog?? How do I pee?? I’m not ready for him to leave me!

Here I am, trying to relax off an on in bed when the baby takes her very short naps. I’m technically still “healing” from my C-section and that takes 6-8 weeks but I feel completely fine, no pain or discomfort of any kind.

I was feeling a little more human today, I actually got dressed and put on a little makeup. Some days I really be feeling myself, but sometimes I’m not a fan of my new tummy. It’s very loose and jiggly but I’m down 30 pounds since the end of my pregnancy. Fun fact, I wore a crop top today and didn’t think it looked that bad!

This is true, and something I’ll admit I struggle with sometimes. I like to be in control of all things and sometimes it’s hard to relinquish that control and just let things be.

God I love Ghost! It’s 2022, almost 2023 and I am actually a new fan of this band even though they’ve been around forever. I love their stage presence and dynamic, the vocals and instrumentals. Such a great group and they really know how to entertain! I really hope they come back to the United States in the future so I can have the chance to see them live.

My babies are my world, and everything to me. Two perfect sisters, I couldn’t have asked for anything better. My oldest is almost 20 months old, and my youngest is 4 weeks old. They get along so well, and my oldest just loves to help out and kiss on her sister. It’s crazy how different both of their births were! My first I had gestational diabetes and hypertension turned postpartum preeclampsia, requiring that I get induced and deliver her in my 37th week. Now my youngest, I also had gestational diabetes but thankfully no high blood pressure. Due to her not doing so great with her stress tests and such, I ended up having to deliver her at 38 weeks by C-section as she was breech and not turning at all. I’ve got to experience both a natural delivery and C-section delivery.

Welcome back to me! It’s been a long time since I’ve been on and posted on Tumblr, but I was compelled to come back and start a new blog! I love this platform to post life updates, memes, quotes and whatever else interests me. As I said before it’s been awhile, and since I last used tumblr I began a relationship and got engaged to the best man alive. We had our first daughter in March 2021 and just welcomed our second daughter October 2022. Life couldn’t be better than this, am I right? We will hopefully be tying the knot here in about two years! Anyway, that’s my small update, but I’m excited to start posting again!
