they know my fears and insecurities

how i love and and my fantasies

they know my traumas but also the best of me

like my dreams and the person i want to be

they’re the ones who will lecture me

and call it “tough love”

because they want what’s best for me

the ones who loved my at my lowest

who i’ve shared tears with

who grabbed me by the hands to tell me i will never be alone

the ones i could never love more than any man

because they are my soulmates
