Even if you are desperate for attention,love,affection,anything never engage in even casual conversation on tumblr with someone who is older than you by 3 years(like if youâre 14 and theyâre 17),or if they are 18+. This can apply to women over 18 as well.
A casual conversation can immediately take a sexual or romantic turn. No matter how much you want that,or think youâre ready for that Iâm here to tell you absolutely are not.
Especially if the person messages you first. If they compliment you,as how your day was,etc you can say thank you and reply to be polite but otherwise do not do anything. If they ask for a phone number or your kik or any other social media,say block them immediately. Iâd say this applies mostly to men because most women over 18 would only be your friend and often nothing more. But men are devious and conniving. Sometimes they will say anything to get nudes from you.
They will even enter a relationship and tell you they love you. They almost never mean it.
And if they do,they have no reason being in love with someone that is even close to 5 years younger than them.
Even if they are a teen too,do not trust them.
Carry fear in your heart and use the block button like itâs a weapon. Defend yourself. Say no. Even when you want to do something they ask,say no. Itâll work for you in the long run and trust me when I say you arenât ready for anything they ask.
Underage kids on tumblr,use caution. Donât trust those that are much too old to be engaging with someone underage. If they call you beautiful,take that as an insult. A threat. A danger. No adult should be calling a child(yes you are still a child if you are 17 and turning 18 in in a month. You are still a child.) beautiful,or sexy,or hot,or even cute.
Check their blog,always check their blog.
If you see one nude picture of anyone,any bit of porn like even a gif,if you see anything that is pornographic block them immediately. They have bad intentions.
If you do not see NSFW material on one scroll down,then check their blog description. If it says 18+ block them.
If it says nsfw block them. If you see any reference of adult material,Block. them.
I know how great it is for a guy to call you beautiful and sexy and even for them to tell you they want to date you or if they say they love you.
Itâs amazing and wonderful but it always a mask or guise for bad intentions.
If they say,âI donât mind that youâre not 18â block them.
If they say,âWell you donât mind that iâm [18+]â block them.
If they say,âbut the human body is so natural you have nothing to be ashamed ofâ block them.
If they say,âWell you can at least show me cleavage.â block them.
If they persist,block them.
If they donât take no for an answer,block them.
Do not say yes just to stop them from persisting. Do not do anything you are not comfortable or of age to do.
They are aware itâs illegal,even if you arenât. Especially if you arenât.
This may sound like Iâm trying to control you or Iâm some fuddy duddy adult that thinks all people on the internet or scary or someone who doesnât understand whats fun or what your heart says,but Iâve been down that road and itâs not an easy trip back.
