Talk to me about forgiveness.

I don’t know if you can simply choose to forgive. I think one day the peace just comes, after a long time of trying. A blue sky and a split second realisation. Or a long sleep and waking up without the pebbles in your throat.

Forgiveness is the product of a choice, not the choice itself. The choice is acting and growing in such a way that one day your body and heart are healed enough to forgive.
