Big Red’s motor is being installed this weekend. I’m very excited for this new chapter to begin! As such - workshop will be closed Thursday-Monday so we have time to focus on not tipping the 1 tonne top heavy beast over 😂 This hammer is about 120 years old. It came on a ship from England to Patea up the Wanganui River. It was transported via horse and cart to the engineering firm who kept it till 2016. They used it less and less as the generations proceeded preferring more modern machines.
