I've been getting more into writing lately and I wanted to create a tumblr to interact with my fandoms! (And to hold me accountable, making sure I actually post!)

I think one of my most favourite and deeply tragic elements of the cactus ring from Third Life is that Grian and Scar both know it's not a fair fight.

Even within canon, when they've taken away every variable, every piece of armour. Grian is just better at this kind of PvP. They both know exactly who's going to win the second they step in that ring, and I think this rings true in both canon, and the fandoms dramatised versions.

Grian can't kill Scar at his insistence, it's just not fair. He needs the illusion of fairness,,

Even though, Grian agreeing to fight Scar in the ring is no different to just killing him right there in that pond.

It provides the semblance of competition; where amongst the performance, blood, and dirt, Grian can pretend he didn't take up Scars offer. And that he was ever given a fair shot of winning

I fucking LOVE the headcanon that Grace doesn't have the words for his experience and doesn't really know that he's aroace- but I honestly think him knowing would be funny as hell.

He tried dating. Didn't work out. Thought he may be gay? Doesn't seem so. Did some googling. Oh shit there it is. Finds the label, acknowledges it, moves on. Like, that's settled, I know what's up now, let's get back to checking my students homework...

And from then on I just think itd be really funny if he was extremely judgy of allo people.

Rocky mentions having a mate and Rylands FIRST response is to roll his eyes before he has to stop himself cuz this is an alien. You should be happy for your alien bestie. Calm down. Their dating scene is probably much different and maybe they don't view romance as the most important thing ever.

I just really want Grace side eyeing any and all couples he sees. He's a hater. I know he is. He never says anything, but he is a hater.

Would be funny if eventually he fake gags at rocky and Adrian any time they're being sweet. Rocky hits him every time he does so.

hey there!!!! yes, Beneath An Angry Sky is named after Scars by the crane wives!!!! (crane wives my beloved)

it's a life series/hermitcraft superhero au where Grian and Scar are best friends...except Scar is secretly a hero at the Hermitcraft Tower, and the villain he was assigned to detain is Mimic (Grian)! and then, one night, Mimic shows up at Scar's doorstep, unconscious and half-dead, and Scar is forced to deal with it.

the first chapter has been posted, and it will be updated every Thursday!!! as of right now, it's at about 89k, and I'm still working on it, but I'm getting close to writing the end!!! if you're interested I might just sliiiiide the link in here :P
