After the Storm (2016)

Well, let’s do this.

A little #tbt tumblr action. Actually, a whole lot of tbt-- I don’t think I’ve done one of these since college? Dam son.

I can’t believe so much in my life has changed but in some ways nothing has. I face so many of the same problems I did as a 14-year-old starting high school, and now I’m 23 trying to start my adult life. Fighting to kick smoking to the curb (for the millionth time), figuring out how to respect myself enough so I listen to my brain before my heart, and of course overcome any and all body issues I’ve never been quite able to conquer.

Each year you’re supposed to be making decisions that help make you a better version of yourself. Even if you take 20 steps backwards, we need to keep inching forwards at the end of it all. It’s exhausting. It’s important. And most of all it’s a process.

But did I mention exhausting? God I’d kill for a smoke.
