Pierrot and Harlequin have very complicated feelings toward each other. Once Pierrot met MC, he slowly began to ignore Harlequin's teasing. Harlequin wasn't becoming jealous because MC was choosing to stay by Pierrot's side, but because Pierrot hadn't said a word to him in a long time.

Eventually, one day, Harlequin snaps, desperately trying to get a response from his old friend Pierrot. However, the argument quickly escalates, and both of them end up saying things they would deeply regret later, once they finally begin to calm down.

Also, if you're wondering why they show their monster features while performing in the circus in my AU, it's because people believe they're just fancy costumes or fursuits made to fit the circus's horror theme.
