Do you ever have a day where you wish someone didn’t exist cause all they do is spend their time trying to prove you wrong and only they can be right and only their opinion matters and they always do it in the most condescending way possible and then you just get so mad you can’t respond because you know exactly what they will say and how they will just think you are being to “touchy”. For fucks sake. 

 I know their is no punctuation and I would do this under a read more but I can’t find it right now. This is honestly a small thing that this person has done and it’s not new but I’m at a point where I’m so done with them, so I will hopefully calm down and respond later with what I want to say in a calmer and more level headed way but this person is so black and white and frustrating that I know they will just get offended that I dared make a point that doesn’t match theirs.......(Internal screaming).................... then they will play it as somehow I’m attacking them for having the right to an opinion or some shit, but I don’t want to live it alone and let them thing that they are right again because ‘of course’ they are right they can’t be wrong...............

Are you living away from the address at which you are registered to vote? Are you too lazy to get off the couch on election day?

VOTE BY MAIL. DO IT. YES. NO EXCUSES.

I’ve never actually voted in person, because I’ve been in college and grad school, and I’ve never bothered to change my registration (for various reasons, including refusing to become a citizen of a state where human rights don’t seem to matter *cough* TEXAS *cough*). So, I fully endorse voting by mail. It’s so easy and painless. I have friends that do this, too, just because they don’t have time to make the trek to a polling place or wait in line.

“Ughhh, but voting by mail sounds complicated. How do I do that?”

Do you know what Google is? Google is your friend. Seriously. Just type “how to vote by mail” into Google, and a nifty widget has ALL THE ANSWERS. Use the drop down menu to choose your state. Some counties will have online applications that make things easier (like I personally use the online Los Angeles County application that takes 30 seconds to fill out).

“But I’m homeless. Can I still vote?”

YES, YOU CAN. YOU HAVE THE RIGHT TO VOTE. This website has all the info you need.

A little kid at my painting camp pulled me over to the side and said “I don’t know how to ask this, but are you a boy or a girl?? I can’t tell.” And I was thrilled because I had passed the “child pointing out your appearance means gender” test as well as being approachable enough that he could ask. So I sat down and told him I was neither and explained that growing up I was told I was a girl but that I’m not, but I’m not a boy either. And he just looked at me and said “so you’re just a person.” Swear to god I had the biggest smile on my face when I told him that’s exactly what I was. For the rest of the day he just called me Izzy instead of Ms something or any gendered title and I got a hug at the end of camp. So if you say gender is too confusing for children to understand, I have a first grader who would tell you otherwise.
