Playing among us public is wild.

I joined a lobby with a bunch of people and the host was a yellow bean named "lemon" and had the leaf hat, and since I play as Strawberry I pointed out that we were both fruit and put the leaf hat on too so we matched.

But they pointed out that I would half to be red instead of green, but red was taken. So lemon just banned the person who was red, and just like that the color was mine.

But then they noticed an orange person named Pumpkin in out midst, and realized we could play a game of all food. So they just straight up banned everyone whose name wasn't food themed. It was like a mass banning. People were pissed.

Eventually we got a full game of food people and played some rounds, waiting in the lobby a bit for more food peeps to join. And everytime a meeting was called you had to explain what happened w food puns related to the type of food you were talking about

If I remember correctly, this screen cap is from a (surprisingly relevant) scene where Jimmy insists on calling table salt "sodium chloride", prompting the restaurant staff dude to correct him multiple times, until he finally asks Jimmy if calling it "salt" is too advanced for him.

i saw the tags and realized this is about the among us video game but when i first read the post i just thought this was about me and someone else who also has imposter syndrome

so in an among us game the other night, a player in chat said “does anyone want to get married?”

and bc i was in it for shits and giggles, i said “yes”

he asked where we should get married and i told him we’d meet in comms, which was right at the end of that round. we started the next game, ran to comms together and danced around each other for a minute, which constituted our marriage ceremony. he then proceeded to just run around with me as we did tasks, which amused me to no end, and in out first body report meeting, he exclaimed, “I’M A MARRIED MAN.”

and then, inevitably, an impostor ran right up to us and murdered me. my new video game husband immediately reported my body.

everyone voted blue immediately, successfully avenging me
